win8 start screen lost desktop tile

Hi is there anyway to bring back the desktop start tile? As somewhere along the line a few seem to have disappeared.

Unofrtunately the app store has disappeared as well I cleaned up some system files using disk clean up, and i think it was around that time they went bye bye. I've never had that problem before just a little weird.

I had a look on the app store and could not find it, plus I could not see a way of deleting the Desktop app just unpinning it but Search should still pick it up

Maybe System Restore will put them back, I've not needed to use System Restore on W8 yet

Use the quick system restore in Windows 8 which keeps your personal files, but reverts back to a working Windows state.....if not, try searching for explorer.exe and see if it will take you to the desktop.
