About a married couple
This women cheats on her husband for months and ends the affair saying she has made a mistake and she really still loves her hubby
And as she goes to tell her husband about the affair he gets ran over and killed
She feels guilty because of her affair and a few weeks later would try and kill herself
However they get her at the hospital on time but her heart stops beating
The entire next episode would be a dream like episode whr she sits and talks to her dead hubby and him saying she forgives her and not to let go and at the end of the episode her heart starts beating again
Do you think a soap could do this ?

Maybe one of the American/Australian soaps or possibly Hollyoaks. The big 3 wouldn't go near that with a stick

Doesn't really work with the Big 3, although I am sure Hollyoaks would give anything a go at this rate. Anything with a hint of paranormal often doesn't go down to well, as lots of people will either have different views or not believe in any of it, thus forcing them to see it as a joke storyline.

I think a really clever twist would be a couple get together, and they dont cheat on each other. Would be crazy though, never been done before.

It's a great idea. I don't want to make things too far fetched, but one of them could have a job that isn't in the street they live in.

Hollyoaks perhaps, could not see any other soap wanting to do this, sounds like a good idea but flashbacks and dreams would only ever work for the right storyline,character and circumstance so overall no I wouldn't think it would work.

somthing like this happened in Home and Away when Sally was stabbed, the whole episode was just her and her dead adopted father in Summerbay house having a heart to heart.
