If your contract mobile gets stolen.....

How long is it before you can get a replacement (via upgrade or something) without having to pay the full cost?
(i have no insurance)... someone was saying a year from the contract start date.... ?

What network are you on? When is your contract end date? How long have you had your contract for?

Usually on a 24 month contract you can 'early' upgrade with some networks after 12 months. However this involves paying a early upgrade fee which in reality is your monthly cost x the number of months left.

Alternatively you can buy a phone? But what happened to your phone was it lost/stolen? Or is it not working, if its this you can send it away for repair for free.

Usually a month or two before you contact is up for renewal - so unless you are at that point you would have to buy your own
