Did the right country win in 1998?

1998 was one of the closest years in a long time for Eurovision - it was really between the three women:

Malta - Chiara
UK - Imaani
Israel - Dana International

Do you think the right one of the three (Dana International) won? It really did come down to the last vote.

I personally, non-bias as well, thought Imaani's song was the strongest, but Israel did have a catchy, memorable number.

Personally I thought the Netherlands should have won tbh. The right song won out of the top 3 though.

I never really rated Chiara in 1998. I think the best three were Dana, Imaani and Edsilia, the latter of whom has the song I enjoy the most now - but Dana was one of my favourites for a very, very long time (dunno why I've gone off it a bit now)

Malta should have won. Dana International can't sing for toffee.
