Problems With Streaming BBC Radio 2

Does anyone else have problems with Radio 2 streamed over t'Internet? We have a Roberts Stream 83i, a Revo clock radio and various other devices (iPad, laptops, phones & so on) and, while receiving BBC stations is generally straightforward most of the time, we do get sometimes persistent problems with Radio 2.

This can be breaks in the stream, or difficulty connecting at all, and it seems unrelated to time of day.

Anyone had similar experience?

:-)

Yes, of course, but this way I can have consistent "signal" strength across all stations.
It's fine when it works, and I don't need the aerial extended.

Yes, but I had trouble hearing Radio 2 via that method in Johannesburg last month.

I've noticed both Radio 2 and 4 do pause for seconds at time when listening to them in foreign countries. The internet connections are fast ones, and the fact I'm abroad shouldn't be an issue ?

Seems a recent problem, I've been doing it for years without problems.

That's what buffering is for, so no, you shouldn't experience problems. It may, of course be a capacity issue - I don't know how things are arranged at the business end.
