Sudbury problems
Is anyone else having problems, basically I had full
Line up of channels before switchover, this then went to 32 channels, was told that I would not get the rest back by an aerial installer until the retune today, but have tried it on both tv downstairs and box upstairs and still only 32 channels, any help or advice please |

Possibly you have an old B group aerial which isn't ideally suited to the frequencies now used by the COM muxs.
http://www.aerialsandtv.com/sudburytx.html ..although I think the old low powered Mux 2 (before the main DSO event last summer) used to be on 68, so if you received that OK, maybe this isn't the problem. |

There have been planned UHF frequency changes at Sudbury today. You just need to do a full retune. See here:

Had the same problem here with the Sudbury Transmitter, I only live a short distance away from the transmitter about 5 miles. But did a retune and it sorted it, even got the channels back the Sudbury area had lost.

Was the power ramped up too on 27th? I have done a retune on my TV, comes up with all the channels, but when selected says NO SIGNAL, now i have an amp splitting the signal in the loft, so could this now be too much, together with the HG aerial ?

Did you clear the old list and start from scratch? This was an occasion where you needed to replace exisiting services, not add. If you are getting a 'no signal' message, it might mean you have just added the new muxs (which will appear in the 800s) but are still trying to tune in to the old frequencies. Obviously if you aren't getting any signal on the PSBs either, this won't be the explanation. |

If it's a very old Group B one from analogue days, that might well be the case.
