I like Lagerfeld Classic, but I'm a 54 year old male, so I would

I've been wearing it for 18 years now, was hard to get hold of for a while, but it seems to have become easily available again.

Probably knocking it out cheap so they can discontinue it

Stuff like this happens all the time as you get older.

I love different scents - according to the seasons, the time of day or whether it's for evenings.

Firm favourites for day all year are Bulgari various -

Bulgari Femme (works for evening too)
Bulgari thé vert
Bulgari eau Fraîche

Irritatingly, the second two appear to be being discontinued - not so easy to come by as they were.

But I also love Diorissimo, White Linen (used sparingly) for summer. In winter I like Cabotine, Amarige and the original Hervé Léger scent for evenings.

All of these are over 12 years old - I've not found a modern fragrance that I really like. And I've tried lots!

It used to be Champagne - YSL & Aqua di Gio - Armani but they stopped making them!!

I would have thought Aqua di Gio was a classic.

I'm currently into Montana par Montana, Chance - Chanel, & Eau de Cartier - Cartier.

But I wear chemical perfumes less & less & wear for every day Fleur de Vigne by Caudalie, & Eau de Cologne 4711, & Florascent Rose Aqua Floralis.

Eau de Sisley No 1 or Jo Malone Orange Blossom for daytime, especially in summer.

Lagerfeld Sun Moon Stars or Givenchy L'Interdit Mythique for evenings.

Anna Sui's Dolly Girl. It smells divine, but alas my bottle is a bit broken - it doesn't squirt out a spray of liquid, it squirts out large droplets that can be a tad overpowering. Can't get the top off the bottle either to decant the perfume into another bottle. Devastated!

Right now my fav is probably diesal's loverdose. I love it. Though swarovski's aura is a new one I adore, though not sure it edges out loverdose just yet.

I really like Sarah Jessica Parker's Lovely. Haven't worn it in a while though, more recently I've been wearing either Jo Malone's pear & freesia, or her white lilac & rhubarb. Mostly I wear them separately, but sometimes together, which is nice too.

Nina Ricci - Nina
Intimately Beckham Her - I like this because it smells a lot like Dior Pure Poison and it's a bit cheaper.

I adore fruity scents, so for me my faves are the DKNY Be Delicious range.

Also Vera Wang's Preppy Princess, I'm addicted to that one too.

I've only ever bought two perfumes and they are Tommy Girl and Ricci Ricci. I can't say that I care for either as perfume in general makes my eyes water.
