So we are off put for a carvery soon! Shame cos I'd already put the beef in so we will have that tomorrow with salad and new potatoes.

Tapas last night (risotto balls, garlic mushrooms, patatas bravas, battered courgettes, bread and oil, mini butternut raviolis).

Tonight Linda M pie, sauteed potatoes and peas.

Pork dinner and it was awful. Had no gravy left for me so I had to use granules which made it taste awful and my father had overcooked the meat. Had homemade apple pie for dessert but yet again, my lovely family didn't leave me any custard so I had it plain and burnt my lip on the apples, not my day!

Met some friends for lunch and we had fajitas and curly fries, so was only a bit peckish tonight. Made some tuna and sweetcorn pasta for lunches in the week so had a bit of that.

I feel like I haven't stopped cooking all day! Breakfast/lunch I made Swedish-style waffles, dinner was pizza and garlic bread with chocolate mousse for dessert, and now I'm making a loaf of bread for sandwiches and toast tomorrow.

I mean, I love to cook, but some days it feels like I'm never out of the kitchen!

I'm having what my mam called a gypsy fry. Don't know where the name came from.
It's like a hash/bubble & squeak.

Monday came around far too quickly

Had a lovely chickpea and rosemary soup/stew last night with broad bean, pea and feta bruscetta.

Tonight is pea pakoras with greek salad, toasted pitta and minty yogurt sauce.

In the end, I baked Aubergine with olive oil, spinach, tomatoes, garlic, feta and basil, and had it with a mixed leaf salad in a Balsamic vinegar dressing and courgettes shallow fried in olive oil, flour, pepper corns and rosemary.
