Gamu performs at an event for The Queen
Gamu (remember her?) performed at Glasgow's Diamond Jubilee celebrations earlier today which were attended by Her Majesty The Queen.
She was actually really good. No X Factor songs but the stuff from her new album (which she kept reminding us was out in September) is sounding really good. Something fresh and different to anything else in the charts at the minute. She even raps in a few songs! She also did a few covers (Noisettes, Florence and the Machine and Aretha Franklin) but the crowd seemed to respond to her really well. On an unrelated note, I met The Queen. But that's a little off topic for here. |
