Was 2010 the best year for talent on x factor?? you had Rebecca ferguson one direction and Cher Lloyd who have all made an impact on the billboard charts and neither of them even won the show!!

I think 2011 had the best talent but I'm in the minority that think that...

My personal favourite years are 2006, 2008 and 2010.

2010 had some great people - Matt, Rebecca, One Direction, Cher, Mary, Aiden, Treyc and Paije all deserved to do well in my opinion.

I'm in the 2011 club, I think it's criminally underrated.

from 2011., these are the acts i think will do well despite winning or not, if they get signed
Little Mix
Marcus Collins
Amelia Lily
Misha B
The Risk
Kitty Brucknell (not yet signed)
and possibly Craig could be the male Adele.. vocally not strong enough though.. buy boy., that guys smashes the ballads

2011 had some great talent just wish someone else could have had Marcus's place in the final most overrated contestant ever.

Little Mix, Misha B, Amelia Lily, The Risk, Janet Devlin and to an extent 2 Shoes all strike me as easily both marketable and talented from 2011.

One Direction and Cher were awful always using a backing track instead of actually singing every week. John was fantastic in that year the only reason he went so early was because of "Zoom" and Simon's dirty tactics!

2008 and 2011 were my favourites talent wise, they had a variety of good contestants, 2010 did have a few talented ones though

I still don't understand why most people think 2011 is the worst year, personally I think all the contestants are talented bar Frankie (yes even NuVibe! They were good in judges houses, something must have gone wrong in the live shows).

Personally I would say 2008, 2009 and 2011 are the best years. 2010 is my least favourite one, I could count at least 5 contestants that were way worse than the 2011 lot.

100% on team 2011 too. I don't understand how they were branded the least talented lot.

Little Mix, Misha B, Janet Devlin, Amelia Lily and The Risk could all have pretty decent success.

Marcus could have done too but I think he's kinda doomed now.

Kitty, Sophie, Craig are all very talented but with less mass appeal I guess. Even James Michael could have been great had he not been sacrificed for Cocozza, who'll likely grace our screens for many months yet just cos that's what the "general public" seem to like! :S

Then Johnny is just an enigma and is going to be one of those that you see pop up on TV shows all the time maybe not for his music though.

Very true. 2010 is the most successful year so far.
2008 was another good year. 2011 worst so far.

I wasn't a fan of 2010 (although I do like Rebecca Fergusson).

2011 was prob my favourite (favourite acts were Janet, Craig and Kitty - looks like both Janet and Craig have things in the pipeline so hopefully they'll have some success), followed closely by 2009 (liked Olly Murs and Stacey Solomon).
