Tom Cruise - loved him in risky business, cocktail etc,, but his weird behavior and Scientology have put me off him so badly I won't watch a fil he is in - he gives me the creeps.

Jennifer Aniston since friends and her divorce she just seems to get more desperate and her films are all terrible with the same character.

Went off Barlow about 12 months prior to him doing his canvassing for Dave. The Kilimanjaro Climb - oh the irony of him bringing his 'celebrity' mates back on the last leg of the journey by private jet - and it only cost him 10,000 mosquito nets! He comes across as a bit of a freeloader too - if I was throwing a party for my beloved after 10 years of marriage - I'd pay for it myself - NOT get some magazine to do it. Everything he does he does for his own promotion.

I find the title of his latest DVD quite ironic too - given the tax issue!

I have to say though - I still like the other Take That guys (well Jason Orange anyway) and I'm sure that Howard's tax issue is because he's a bit thick (nice - but thick).

I agree about Gary Barlow. Liked him until the Frankie Cocozza ridiculousness but could never respect him after that, and the royal brown nosing is really stomach churning. I think everything he's been doing lately has been very calculated and he just leaves me cold, even though I want to like him as I do think he's a talented musician.

I also agree about Simon Cowell. Ever since he turned the XF into the Simon & Cheryl Show I've not liked him at all.

I've noticed though (and he has done it for a while) is the way he always intimates (in my opinion) without coming out directly that he STILL writes MOST of the songs for Take That (in particular the hit singles). One of the things that has kept TT popular this time around is the belief that they ALL write the songs together. If you watch the behind the scenes DVD's etc - he'll use phrases like 'I put down a little beat', 'I came in with the backing tracks', etc - its like although he (appears to be - or just plain HAS to be happy) with sharing the songwriting royalties - he wants everyone to know that it is really him that is the brains behind the whole thing.

I agree - he is talented as far as writing for Take That - however his musical output outside the band is pretty woeful Sure 'Sing' was number one - but if it hadn't been for the event and for charity - would it have troubled the top 40? I seriously doubt it.

To be fair, she has made attempts at playing different characters, and done very well at it IMO. However these weren't well received. The trouble is she got typecast, and the people who like her usual films don't like her doing anything different and the people who don't would largely avoid anything she was in. Watch her in Derailed if you haven't already; she plays a very different character there and is really excellent.

Ugh! I have seen derailed but still don't think she is a very good actor but then again I can't stand watching her in anything anymore.

Oh well, if you've seen Derailed and didn't think she was good in it, we have different ideas about good acting and there's nothing more to say.

I used to be a fan of Mel B but over the last year or so i've gone right off her. Judging by some of the stuff i've heard about her 'off camera' she does seem awful.

Mee too! Utterly shocked when his racist rants come out only to be followed by cheating, girlfriend beating, more racist ranting, and now his step-mother has taken out a restraining order on him I was looking at a picture of him the other day, and I don't even know what I saw in him and slightly ashamed that I supported such a man.

Loved Jennifer in Friends, but now I get really annoyed whenever there's another 'Jen has a new boyfriend!' story, which always seems to coincide with the release of another mediocre romcom. I know that's probably a bit harsh since the the media is mainly to blame for all those stories, but can't help feeling that she plays up to it a little. Enough with the 'poor me, I can't seem to find love' angle.

Waaay back in the day I used to love Robbie Williams (along with all the TT boys), then when he left / got sacked in the summer of 95 and acted like a complete **** and actually spent a lot of time slagging the others (esp Gary) and the old manager Nigel Martin Smith off saying how he was always so talented and would have been this massive star even if he was never in Take That just made me realise what a spiteful, jealous little idiot he is. IMO if he had never been in take that he would be working in burger king or washing windows. I had thought perhaps it had all come from him being young, naive and mostly off his face but when the band regrouped and they were all waiting to see if Robbie was going to turn up (he didn't) then a coupelk of years later when they are massive he suddenly wants back on the action. The others should have told him where to go. Progress was I thought the weakest material since the comeback and it's coz it sounds too like a Robbie Williams record, Cannot stand the man. Sorry that turned into a bigger Robbie rant that I had intended ....

I used to really like Katie Price. I bought into the business woman making it on her own terms ect. I thought she was honest and real. Now I think the opposite. I think her honesty is simply crudeness and now I just really dislike her.

I used to like Sean Bean until I discovered he's a wife beater. Now I can't stand the sight of him. Same thing with David Soul.

What about the ones who go political?

Seb Coe, top althlete, now Lord Coe, Tory peer.

Louise Bagshawe/Mensch, author, now Tory Mp.

Onto journalists, Anna Soubry, former Central Tv presenter, now Tory Mp, Esther McVey, Tv presenter, now Tory Mp, Gloria DePierro, ex GMTV political editor, now Labour Mp, Ben Bradshaw, former BBC journo, now Labour Mp(former minister in fact!)

What about journos who go to work for certain people, lets say you're not sure about, eg former BBC journo Michael Cole, going to work for Al Fayed?

Certainly, with the likes of Anna Soubry, who I used to enjoy on 'Central Weekend', the news that she was a Tory did fill me with dismay!

What about 'our friend' Mr Lydon ? Enfant terrible in the 70's in the musical world, these days a TV Butter salesman must admit caused a few raised eyebrows!

He's so over-rated. People mistake talking softly and slowly for cool it seems; he's not cool in interviews .... he's just plain boring!!!! Sends me to sleep when he talks.

I used to really like David Tennant, but a few years ago he did a video for comic relief, and he just came across as patronising, demanding and rather unpleasant - like 'hand your money over or your a pathetic excuse for a human being'. since then I've gone right off him and the more I see of him the more he just comes across as an arrogant prick.

I dont buy his "quiet" persona in interviews. He comes across as a wallflower. I dont buy into that. He manages to pull these big characters out of the bag, hes dated Kate Moss and used to hang around with River Phoenix & Hunter S Thompson. I dont buy that he's this desperately shy, withdrawn person.

Hes a very good actor dont forget. I just think he hates being interviewed as himself and "hides"

Not really gone off him as I think he's really talented , but I find Will Young rather off putting . He seems the nicest guy in the world in TV interviews but I've heard on more than a few occasions that he can be a real shit ,So much so that if I ever saw him out in public i'd be afraid to even acknowledge him . I'd like him more if he was consistently nasty in his interviews IE more honest .

I had a really awful experience when out to dinner with some friends one time. The friends had invited other friends whom I didn't know and had never met before.

During the meal, we were having exactly this type of discussion, and one of the guests I didn't know started talking about a particular actress and how much he disliked her, how dreadful an actress she was, and just generally saying what an awful person he thought she was. I felt very awkward as the woman he was talking about is quite a close relation of mine. Not wanting him to feel bad later on if someone should tell him this, I interjected and explained that I was closely related to her. He then laughed really uproarously and said "oh my God, that would be so awful, can you imagine if you really WERE related to her?" Very awkward indeed! The friends who had invited us then explained to him that she WAS in fact related to me and he went very red indeed and then apologized! The evening was somewhat uncomfortable after that!

And the moral is, just be careful who you slag someone off to!

Another vote for Gary Barlow.

I used to really like him. I was very pleased for Take That when they came back and made such a success of it. Then they let the ego back in the group, Barlow started shilling for the Tories and attempting to crawl up any Royal backside within reach. Plus he cam across as a right git on The X Factor. I know that last one was probably contrived, as he wanted to be the new Simon Cowell, but it just made him seem unlikeable. Shame really.

Oh, and he's a tax dodger.

Rather not say, partly because it would almost immediately identify me and I prefer to be anonymous on here! And partly because she is now deceased and I'm a little more sensitive about unkind comments than I was when the dinner party happened, so I don't particularly want to start an onslaught of negative messages!

Was she awful? She certainly could be a 'handful' I think is the nice way of putting it!
