I think Luke is most probably aware that anyone who gets it on with someone in BB, will be classed as having a showmance. I don't think Deana saying it to his face will make the slightest bit of difference to him. Luke seems to have everything very much under control and has most probably taken into account people will scream showmance and most probably also knows, that even if people do scream that, BB love showmances and so do many of the public.

Whether she goes or not, Luke regrets, imo, his showmance with Ashleigh. He'll start petty arguments with her next week so he can break off their relationship. Then he'll just claim that he wasn't with her for a showmance, that he did really like her, but it just wasn't working out between them.

I dunno Luke S might continue with the relationship seeing as he hasn't been up for eviction yet. Assuming no-one is nominating him.
The house inside tends to see their own interactions as if they are the outside audience, not knowing what we actually see is not quite what they imagine. Considering Deana thinks she gone and Everyone was shocked Conor was up. |

I'm not sure the relationship between Luke and Ashleigh is completely fake, just not convinced they would be together in the outside world, so it's a BB romance, or 'showmance' in the technical terminology..
![]() Again, I'm not sure these showmances are completely contrived, but either side knows that it gives them some security in the house (i.e a confidant) and makes them less vulnerable to nomination (or should do Luke if you hadn't taken Deana on..). The public don't necessarily buy into them, but they don't know that so its a risk worth taking. For all they know, the public like them.. So it is mutually convenient in there. Whether it stands the test of time, who knows? |
