NiGHTS Into Dreams HD announced!

Sega just announced it:

http://blogs.sega.com/2012/07/05/dre...eams%E2%80%A6/

Here's the trailer vid:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qb_CJLofgPY&hd=1

Available for XBLA/PSN and Steam. It features all the original levels (not sure about Xmas NiGHTS?) with HD and Saturn original modes.

I'm so chuffed about this news it's untrue. I'd rather have this than Shenmue if I'm honest!

Absolutely fantastic news!

Shenmue will come eventually, but for now, NiGHTS, yay!

Excellent news. Even better if Christmas Nights is included as well.

Christmas Nights and time/date set (to unlock Raela) were in the Japan HD version so hopefully they will be here too!

Have we got a release date?

Can't wait! Great news!

Does this mean Guru Larry will make an appearance singing the song?

What I want to know is why not Wii U? C'mon Sega, Nintendo fans would lap this up. Journey of Dreams was a good game and a game like that could only of been released on the Wii.

But better yet why not 3DS? the Circle pad is ideal, the smaller screen would iron out those dated textures and with added 3D it would not only make the game look incredibly pretty but potentially easier to play. It's an ideal match and I really wish it would happen.
