EPG hasn't got DD in the description, The West Wing wasn't in 5.1 either IIRC is this an error on the guide or does AS not like 5.1?

Strange. I always put the lack of 5.1 on West Wing down to the fact that the show started in the 90s and 5.1 wasn't as common as now.
Not sure why this wouldn't be.

Sky have put back Episode 1 until Sunday on Anytime+. Apparently haven't had the masters yet, according to their FB page.

It is on today but only in SD, I wonder if they HD print is not available until launch day or will be on later/tomorrow ?

I've just asked them on their FB page so we'll see.

They replied and the guy said he didn't know if the HD version was going to appear before next week's channel premiere so I guess you'll have to watch it in SD if you want to watch it before next week. I'll grab it and watch it tonight since I've got nothing else on my planner.

If you have Sky Anytime+ you can watch the first episode now (just go to the entertainment section) however be warned like many of the programmes on Anytime+ they don't seem to do it in HD so it would be the SD version and I know people tend not to like watching things this way anymore.

Found this tucked away in anytime + just as you said....I had assumed ( wrongly it seems ) that I would see this appear in " recently added " but unless I missed it it sneaked on to the planner unannounced ....may watch today

I think it did sneak on the lists - I just went to All but I always do this because if HD content is going to be anywhere it is there

I have just finished watching it - pretty good, it didn't capture me the way West Wing instantly caught me but I think that was because I was young and had a hell of a lot less on my mind back then

I really enjoyed it - thought Emily Mortimer was great and I have always liked Jeff Daniels....can't wait for Ep. 2

I like Emily Mortimer too Did you notice the guy out of Skins is in the cast of this he really is doing well for himself - I never thought of him as the greatest actor out of the cast but he has been in a couple of films and now getting to work with Aaron Sorkin, Emily Mortimer and Jeff Daniels, that would be a dream for me

Yeah Dev Patel from the original and still the best Skins! (oh and a little film called Slumdog Millionaire)

He played a good part too though they all kinda did! I suppose that's the Aaron sorkin way....get a frigging awesome cast and write a fantastic script for them!

It is definitely the way of Aaron Sorkin Dev Patel did play the part well - he was also in Last Airbender but that probably not his proudest moment - I am glad for him I like to see our Brits doing well over the pond.
