Pictures have emerged as Naomi has transformed into Princess Diana for a forthcoming film that follows the last two years of Diana's life.

Hmm, i am underwhelmed in a way. She looks nothing like her. Especially if you compare Helen Mirren and Meryl Streep who both transformed into their characters brilliantly. I also don't rate her much as an actress. It is a huge shame Jessica Chastain dropped out. But maybe Naomi could surprise us.

I think Jessica Chastain would have been awesome, but Naomi Watts will do well I'm sure. I've liked her in a few things, and she does look fairly alike to Diana. In terms of the Helen Mirren and Meryl Streep reference, they both played women older than themselves so make up was a huge factor, whereas Naomi is a similar age and wouldn't require much.

She may not look an awful lot like Diana, but i'm pretty confident she'll nail the voice.

I wouldn't say Naomi (as Diana) doesn't look like Diana, but Diana had a very distinctive look that was instantly recognizable which is probably why it is so hard to capture. However this is sort of like the build-up to last year with 'my week with marilyn' in terms of everyone judging on the look and Michelle Williams was absolutely amazing as Marilyn and captured the look and feel of her perfectly.

True. It's just how i feel for now. I have a lot faith in Naomi and good luck to her. To take a role of Diana, would be such an honor for her

Oh and the movie has renamed. It's is now called Diana.

I will giving this a miss me thinks i'm not a Diana fan and i have little interest in her. Saying that the movie do well espeacialy in the US where i believe there crazy for her.

I'm glad the title has been changed, I didn't quite understand the title 'Caught in flight' and you wouldn't know that title would be associated with a movie about Diana.

She looks so unlike Diana it's laughable to me. I do think Naomi is an amazing actress, but it takes more than the same hair-do for an actress to psychically resemble someone else.

Me too. I have had more than enough of the never-ending Diana hysteria in the real world. I don't want it in my fictional ones as well.
