center parcs sherwood forest

Heading there on monday for a five day break. Anyone know how bad the weather is there at the moment and what is
else is there to do in that area?

I'm about 30 mins drive away and it's pretty wet here. Although today isn't too bad, cloudy but dry and humid.

There are lots of things to do - could you say what type of activities you are interested in and it might help with the replies

Have an 8 and 3yr old so anything goes really. I take it there's robin hood a plenty?? Any good bars I should know about in nottingham or closer for my 'time out'??

It's quite a distance from Nottingham city, (a 40 minute drive at least) so I'd stick to the local villages near Centre Parks. Edwinstowe has some nice pubs if I recall.

As for RH, you have the Sherwood Oak not far from you and there s a RH visitors center there.

Try the above website for ideas there are several country parks very near to centre parcs. If you fancy going into Nottingham there is the castle and/or the caves under it.

If I were you I'd be in the pancake house (any excuse) and the breakfasts at the country club are really good. I love centre parcs, hope you have a good time!

Just stay in the Center Parcs resort - plenty and I mean plenty - to keep you occupied. I love it there. Been several times.
