Turn the brightness down. I doubt any phone will last 3 hours with brightness up.
I'm not generalising, i'm just saying how i've found the battery life on my phone. My brightness has always been on 30% and i've even put it on 0% sometimes to see if it'll make a difference but it doesn't really. Maybe 15 mins extra but thats it.

Like i said, the battery is good in standby. I haven't used it for about 7 hours now and its only lost 3% battery with autosync on which is great. but as soon as i use the screen for browsing or watching videos it'll drain so quickly. I've watched a 2 hour video on my sd card once and had 38% battery left from 100%. This was with the screen brightness on 30%. If you stream a video for that long it decreases even quicker as the phone overheats and won't charge because it's got too hot. If you're looking for battery life i would not recommend this phone as compared to previous phones i've used its not as good.

The software update may fix things but the phone has been out for a while now and at the moment things still haven;t improved.

I`ve had my One X since launch on the 3 network, my mate also has it. Now I go through phones like theres no tomorrow, but have stuck with this handset.
The last update from 3 itself greatly improved battery life. As it is I can under normal use get 2 - 3 days between charges.

Though since yesterday, I am on 26% and 23Hours uptime.
Used it for several calls, checking news sending approx 20 odd texts and using TunIn Radio for an hour or so.

Both Mrs C and I are getting 2-3 days use out of our One X's, and mine only drops below that if I really hammer the games - so far, we are impressed as the battery life on our old Desire's was pretty woeful.
