My tickets for NIA birmingham came the other day, got block 11 row E (which is front row) on the side, can't wait.
Didn't want to go to Hyde park, too big, so happy for a small venue for a change.

Well the song is about being emotionally Frozen...so i am unsure if it was about a "lover" exactly but about forces making her frozen and stable and unable to melt/flow/break out from it....i get that from the kinda distortion of the Ambience/Electronica of the song and the delivery of her vocals....the way she is so hauntingly restricted and as the song flows on it becomes more of a powerhouse in sound.

So i reckon Frozen is about not letting yourself go, not letting yourself be known, the world and your surroundings have frozen you, now its time to melt and let loose.

Thats an interpretation of it anyway

also for LOLs...here is Charlie Hides in Italy!

On the subject of a 15 minute video for Gang Bang, as unlikely as it would be I'd hope Madonna would put some of her own money into her own project so she can have a proper budget that the label won't fuss about incase (or unfortunately, when ) the song flops.

I want references to Misery, police chases, showdowns, shoot-offs, drive-bys and so on. I just want it to be absolutely ridiculous yet because it's a Madonna video she'll kill it and it'll just be really entertaining.

Oh God, reading some of the comments on here, and the ages of some of Madonna's fans, I feel soooo damn old! Lol. I can still remember watching Madonna performing 'Holiday' on Top Of The Pops around the end of 1983, I think it was. First time I'd ever seen her. I liked the song but grew to love it more in the coming months. The first single I actually bought of Madonna's was the re-release of 'Lucky Star' in early 1984. And I bought everything she released from that point on! All the albums and almost every single on both 7" and 12" vinyl. And videos, cd's (around 1988 I got my first cd player) and books and magazines and cut out every newspaper article to put in scrapbooks, recorded every tv appearance of hers on video, I went to see Desperately Seeking Susan in the cinema many times .... yup, I was obsessed with Madonna, lol! I still adore her.

Can't wait to see her in Birmingham, although I hope my view won't be too obstructed (I'll be fairly close but I hope I won't have someone 6 foot tall standing in front of me, lol!) I went to her Girlie Show tour at Wembley in 1993 and it was amazing, despite the lousy venue (I hate huge stadium gigs and usually avoid them like the plague!). Will be amazing seeing her in an arena. I'm just glad I'm staying overnight in a hotel so I don't have to worry about getting home after, if her concert starts as late as many are saying!

Anyway, I think it's great that she has a whole new generation of fans and appeals to all ages. She's had such a phenomenal career. Nearly 30 years and to think, at the time, people were saying she'd only be around 6 months and that she was 'just a flash in the pan', lol!

I wish I could have had the same kind of fan experience with Madonna, but I was born in 1983 so I missed out on the early years. Somehow I didn't really notice her until Music came out, but it was such great fun buying her old albums and working my way through them, discovering her classic videos, etc.

So excited for Birmingham. I'm relieved I have a hotel room close to the arena. Trekking anywhere after midnight, I just want to get "home" as soon and as easily as possible.

Personally that fan made video a bit aback is kinda the angle id love.

What i would love if Madonna filmed her own feature length video for gang bang id love for her to inject some surrealism in there...some gritty grindhouse B-movie feel to it "Faster Pussycat Kill! Kill! - Russ meyer stuff, Hitchockian Psycho/Rear Window campy/schlock/classiness with it....some absolute comicy outrageousness about it.

So kinda like an intense blend of Psycho/Kill Bill/Sin City/Batman The Animated Series/Dirty Harry/Faster Pussycat Kill! Kill! basically

And i would love for her to do it...the only snag with it is

a) time - what time does she have with the tour to fund it and film it with a short storyline?

b) how would she sell it to radio and TV networks to fund it and replay it etc

c) when she has finished with the tour id love her to focus on different side-projects before launching out with a full on next album and era tbh.

I have a feeling her Truth or Dare line will expand at some point. Another perfume? More clothes. Maybe do other merch.

I just booked coach tickets from London to Birmingham. I was going to get the train but there is no way I'm paying the fares they're charging. I'll still be gouged by the rail companies as I do have to use the train from my home town to London.

I feel like getting to the show and back is costing almost as much as entry into the actual event. Bloody crazy. The cost of using public transport in this country makes me sick and it's always a bit of a downer when I have to fork out to use it when it comes to a special outing like this. It really takes a bit of the excitement away if I let myself think about it.

i reckon after this tour, she will take a couple months out with her family.

Then i reckon more Macys partnerships, expansion with Lola....Truth Or Dare i really do hope she branches out and markets a male fragrance i really think it will be a bigger success potentially....i mean her male and female fanbase will buy into it all tbh. And then perhaps a bit more of a break and then focus and gain inspiration and take time on the next record and decide on direction, style, concepts, themes and what she will reinvent into next as a next step for her legacy It will be interesting but tbh i think she should and could team closer with Interscope and Live Nation than she has this era.

Focus on singles/videos before the album is out in a couple years time, focus on massive scale promo tours for the album...and tour the following year and have side projects and gaps enough inbetween select dates etc.

That would be just the best way to go about it all tbh

The MDNA Family Loves Jen is trending as a teen (14 or 15) commit suicide today from bullying of her peers

So sad!

It would be very successful if she did a men's line and a men's fragrance/skin care line.

I love celebrity fragrances and would collect them, but I have a mixture of allergies which means I can never wear perfumed products.

That ITV programme about the #1s had Like a Prayer and Vogue in the running, I remember voting sadly they never made the final cut Really though? Does Don't Look Back In Anger by Oasis really deserve to make the list, I like the song but Like a Prayer and Vogue are so much better

Meh, UK music snobs got in there -_- nevermind

Like A Prayer and Vogue are unworthy of a silly ITV poll.

And i think that if M does Male fragrances it would be massive! As she said Lola buys male scents to wear anyway...she has a massive market of male superfans and all ages too, and females also buy male scents too...or the tomboys do at least

It will be super and id buy it...but Truth Or Dare is a female fragrance, has had mixed reviews on the scent itself and too isolating....but its a significant start.

Probably people such as: Clare from Steps, Pete Waterman, Sunitta, some random BGT and X Factor contestants and probably someone like Keith Lemon as well as some random TV presenters and comedians we've never heard of
