Well done HK. (The less said about wonkey's stats the better though. My word she can talk! ).

Are you the highest ranked poster on DS? I thought I needed to get out more when I hit 1000, but 45000!

3.11pm: Shievonne and Luke A are having a heart-to-heart. First Ashleigh and Lauren, now this. More alliance-shifting? #bbuklive
Hmmm that's a bit unexpected.

Please forgive my ignorance on this subject, but is there any reason why testosterone can't be administered by patches or those female contraceptive implant rods? The more I think about this I can't understand why the latter isn't the norm. After all, it's hormones. I used to work for a pharmaceutical company and can't think of any reason why implants wouldn't work unless it's something to do with the dose levels for each individual.

I suppose in a way testogel works in the same way as a patch as it's absorbed through the skin.

Scots rool has the highest of anyone you are likely to see on the BB forum. She has well over 100,000. There is a DS poster called Terrence Chant who is currently on 263,603 posts, but he mainly stays in the games forum.

I am a fearsome windbag though. One of my posts was so long that the moderators split it into 3 parts.

I think you can get patches but I've never heard of implants - I'm not saying they don't exist though. It would certainly save a lot of hassle.

Let's keep that quiet, shall we?

Someone has posted this picture of Freddie Prinz Junior (have I got that right?) as a lookalike, and you know they could have done worse. I am massively ignorant about celebrities because I only watch Big Brother so I don't know who he is, though i understand there is something called google.

Well after watching Come Dine With Me I've decided what's for tea - off to Sainsburys (other supermarkets are available) to buy ingredients!

Oh, and Michael Fish just said it's going to rain, so I'll grab my sunglasses ................ for all of you old enough to remember his very tiny forecasting blunder.

Hopefully Shievonne and Luke bonding will put an end to the constant bitching about him which is starting to get uncomfortable.

Hopefully, it will mean she won't vote for him again but I doubt it . They hugged each other when Shivonne decided to join the blue team, so they must get on with each other to some extent.

Hi. I'm going around the appreciation threads of the housemates I still like rather than get embroiled in the main forum. (Much of what's argued about now may become irrelevant after tonight's eviction anyway.)

(BTW, it can be better to ignore an anti- thread, and let it sink off the front page.)

I think that Luke has a basic decency (which is a pretty rare thing in bb13) but, along with the other HMs I like, still lacks a 'winner's story' -- a compelling (ideally) narrative that explains why he should win. Any thoughts?

There is a bit of a resemblance. I remember seeing him in the Scooby Doo film.

yes, I think that's all fair, and you are probably right re. the middle paragraph, which I am really terrible at doing.

Someone CAN win without a 'winner's story', but that is perhaps more likely in a quiet series, as happened in BBCH. In the end, unless some unusual pressure is put on him, Luke may be just to quiet to crack it; Lauren may be a better prospect, though of course a more dangerous one because she is a more explosive personality and still has time to combust. (I'm not sure how serious her threats to walk out were).

He undoubtedly needs something to happen, either instigated by him or in response to a situation created by someone else.

For me, nothing would beat him taking on his nemesis Luke S, and triumphing. I don't mean by having rows, although I don't think it would do him any harm if he did have one, but by challenging the controlling and overbearing behaviour Luke S displays.

If, along the way he was able to catch Caroline out and expose her bitching and hypocrisy then that would be an added bonus.

Shievonne confuses me. I think Luke will be surprised when he finds out what she's said behind his back.

I agree, I think that having a memorable, defining moment would benefit his popularity and make him a more 'worthy' winner. I think you have provided some good examples.
