C'mon John - we're waiting!
Is it just Gatwick and Heathrow we have to stake out?

Thanks ellemay, I really enjoyed this - dare I say it took me back to the good old times?

Don't know about anyone else but I don't want to meet in London until after the Olympics. Think a Xmas meet would be better - cooler, no Olympics, no summer holidays. . .

Morning all.

Thanks ellemay for the video. I've just watched it twice - those really were the days. The video has just brightened up my day - in the middle of a very heavy rain shower for a change.

Off to watch Saturday Kitchen.

Look forward to more news of John.

OK muggins - let's meet in late November/early December in London. Want you to come, please please please. . .please. . .please. We can meet at the place we did last year which is very very central and not expensive (a rare thing in London).

As soon as we have a date I can ask Laura's carers about having a bit of extra time off, the Social Worker is always saying I must have a 2-nighter at some point, so I will work on it as soon as we know the date It's the train travel that's the most expensive part, I could always stay overnight in Woking and visit my brother and old friends at the same time

Good day at Wimbledon today......just saw some of the Ladies' final myself, but gather all the matches were interesting

Guess who's going to miss the Men's final tomorrow, because we have tickets for an opera matinee in London - duh!!

So I'll say go Murray! now, while I have the chance....

Off to bed now

Buy your train ticket at least three weeks in advance and you can save heaps. I think the only restriction is the time of the trains you take.

Shall we say the first Saturday in December? Don't know the date. Everyone is welcome and If anyone wants to come, please PM me by the end of July. Need to know what kind of numbers. I will ask again in October and make final reservation then. We had quite a good time last year.

Morning all. Watched the men's doubles last night - and the cricket. Wonder how John feels about Australia losing the One-day test series.

Can't bear to watch the tennis today - sorry but I'm rooting for Federer. He has worked very hard to get to the finals and is such a lovely man (met him at the O2 finals last year).

Anyone watch the Hollow Crown last night? Brilliant!

Have fun Lindy. I'm going to see DEMOCRACY ont he 21st. Saw it years ago but it is such a good play.

Have a good day all.
