I can't stand Sharon Osbourne myself but I'm already getting bored of reading that Jack's MS diagnosis is in someway 'karma' for her vileness.

Speaking as someone who actually has MS (and for the record I'm not angry or bitter about it - I'm just getting on with it and have been for the last eleven years) I'm damn sure it's not because of anything my mother has done (who is also a member of these forums)

I really wish people would think before they write such idiotic things. It really doesn't make pleasant reading.

After her bullying antics (along with the equally vile Louis Walsh - who can only seem to take on unassertive women) and the way she treated Dannii Minogue, for no other reason that 'she just didn't like her'.

Well I 'just don't like the Osbournes' and feel absolutely no sorrow whatsoever, at best all I can offer is 'what goes around comes around, Shazza'.
Not sure I see your point thats like saying that Sharon would have had no sympathy for Kylie when she had breast cancer because she didn't like her sister....

Well said, Tweacle.
Implying that this is some sort of karma is ridiculous but seeing that the OP hasn't returned to defend their pov we haven't got much of an explanation for it.

I was misdiagnosed with MS for ten years (eventually found to be a different condition) and have done extended postgraduate research into the experience of people with MS, as well as volunteering at an MS centre. I've seen the best and worst of it, have been both inspired and distraught but everyone who has it is different, despite common symptoms. There is the danger of people assuming that whatever happens to Jack Osbourne will also happen to them and I hope that if he does keep going public about his condition that it isn't badly represented.

I've heard MS described as a 'terminal illness'. In extreme cases this may be so. It is certainly disabling. However, this kind of misinformation can cause all kinds of distress and the media will often present something as 'worst case scenario' rather than get to the facts.

I hope you're keeping as well as possible with yours, Tweacle.

Thank you DD

Eleven years in and I'm still working 30 hours a week (I've just gone part time) exercising three times a week (I've also lost nine stone recently) and positive about my future. I think I'm doing ok and I'm living, breathing proof that MS doesn't have to be the end of the world. Yes, there are limitations but I accept them and just get on with the stuff I can do. Somebody at work said to me today at work "I almost forget you have MS"......my response? "That's exactly how I want it it to be"

I hate Sharon Osbourne - she was really joking and laughing about the poor man who had his penis cut off by his bitter girlfriend?
I could really see her laughing if the man cut out his girlfriend's vagina ... NOT

I think she is a horrible, shallow, lady but I feel sorry for her son and what he is going through but I just cannot warm to her.

Sorry if I sound evil but when you are used to someone being horrible in the spotlight for so long and appearing to have everything for being a loud mouth on television, it's hard to have any nice feelings towards them

Saying that I don't wish MS on anyone.

I'm definitely no fan of Sharon. She who posts excrement through people's doors and was totally vile to Steve Brookstein on live TV. She is nothing more than a chav with money.

I do however feel much sympathy for her poor son, who seems to have developed into a decent chap despite the role models he has for parents.

So she says a few choice words about someone and that means her son deserves to get MS? Right....great logic.

Good to hear, Tweacle. I often catch your posts here on DS and was aware you had MS. Well done with all the positive things you're doing.

She was right about Brookstein though.

Was she ?

He was the most popular contestant seeing as he won.

Admittedly he turned out to be twisted and bitter, but that's only because ultimately he was shafted by Syco.

Mrs O's plastic surgery is making her look more and more like a puppet out of Thunderbirds. Sorry to hear about Jack though.
