Kill her off and let her take one last milk float ride to the cemetery,
Even a bin lorry would suffice.

Perhaps Shirley could also be a casualty in the same accident

This current stint has seen Kat going down the same dark alleyway, beyond redemption and to the point of no return. She will always be a memorable and iconic part of EE history no matter what, however, I think it's time producers called last orders on this landlady and disposed of the character for good. As they are so keen on killing off their female stalwarts, I think it would be a fitting end to a character who has well and truly, in my opinion, been exhausted. Many say that this latest storyline could lead to her departure, however, I think she should go out with a bang (no pun intended) rather than a whimper. I know many people will disagree with me which is fine but I think Kat should be killed off. Or do you think she should disappear in the back of a taxi, go and live with Charlie or run off to Stacey in Spain or wherever she is or something else?!
I think the scriptwriters are doing a very good job of killing off Kat.......poor devil is now akin to a prostitute with the morals of an alley cat........exhausted.......I would say that, the times they have put her about.......and what poor devil, even if they adored her, would put up with her antics.......they are doing a great disservice to Kat.......and to Alfie.....

Time to kill off Kat & Alfie in my opinion. They're both going round in circles. Good characters in their prime, but past it now.

Time to get shut. Alfie can stay.
Agreeing with this bit. I absolutely loved Kat and Alfie and grew up watching them. They've been ruined since they've been brought back, which is a shame as I was really looking forward to them being back on the screens. As much as Kat may have been a tart back in the day, I think the way her relationship developed with Alfie would have changed her.

Only difference being, Jessie obviously has no intention of leaving even though her character's popularity has wained (as a result of the storylines) and Ronnie was still massively popular. Shame really as Kat had so much potential again upon her latest return and they go and thrust another affair upon her leading the audience to hate her even more. Why couldn't the writers have taken Kat and Alfie down the marriage guidance counselling route? This would still have provided plenty of drama and would also have been a more credible and realistic approach to the characters' situation, instead of taking the easy option yet again and just letting Kat have another affair even it is with a silly twist! EE seem to avoid exploring real situations and going more in-depth with promising storylines, they did exactly the same with Tanya's cancer, which, unsurprisingly, she miraculously recovered from. Only Jo Joyner's amazing portrayal gave the story any substance and realism, it was handled extremely poorly and irresponsibly research wise. Unfortunately, Kat has become a charicature of herself and Jessie can no longer display any acting skills due to the criminally poor material she is given.
Also agree with this. The actors and actresses, no matter how good they are, can only do so much when given such poor material. I absolutely hate this storyline and wish EE would stop messing with Kat and Alfie.

Just because everyone loved the whole "will they, won't they get together" storyline years ago, doesn't mean we enjoy a "will they, won't they split up" one.
