Also, it says remove disk now, instead of eject?

Because in the new model you remove a disc rather than ejecting it silly.

The PS2 slim had that so I wouldn't be surprised if they did that to reduce costs even further.

How about no lid? They could save even more money...

Or better still, you could spin the disc around on your little finger thus getting rid of the need for any moving parts
