The Forza Games

I'm a fan of the series having just picked up forza 4 for £10 the other day. My question is though when your playing and things don't seem to be going your way like you do a dodgy turn round a dodgy corner do you hit the rewind button and If you do/don't do you consider it cheating? I think it is as I was in 1st position last night and was getting overtaken just before the finishing line I thought 'sod that' and hit the rewind button then prevented the same car from doing the overtake.

Still felt like I cheated though.

Why not use it?

I think the rewind function in the Forza games is a tragic idea myself. But this is just my personal opinion on it.

I honestly just restart it ... It's not cheating it's in the game but for me I do feel cheap if I do use it so I don't

As far as I'm concerned it doesn't exist. I've never used it and I refuse to. T10 done a good job of making a distinction between certified and uncertified lap times so you know when someone has cheated on the leaderboards (you get a [!] next to the time) and you obviously cannot use it online but it will most likely ruin the single player and any satisfaction you gain from completing the races the proper way.

TBH it's only there for complete noobs who are not really into sim racers and/or lack any form of attention span.

It's not a real cheat it's there in the programming, so you can use it if you like.

Personally, I don't use it as I do conisder it a kind of cheat.

Any mistakes I make tend to be small enough for me to get away with though.
