Lockout

Luc Besson wrote and produced this scifi garbage. It's about a a guy who's sent to rescue the U.S. president's daughter who's being held hostage on a maximum security prison that happens to be in outer space. It borrows quite a bit from films such as "ESCAPE FROM NY / LA" and the "DIE HARD" franchise - and does it badly.

Sucker Punch

It has one good thing in it, and that's Emily Browning wearing a short skirt and knee high stockings.

It's not a movie.

It's a video game with levels, cutscenes and objectives, and enemies with clearly mentioned weaknesses to aim for. The only thing this "film" was lacking was an on-screen graphic indicating your score and the number of lives you had left.

John Carter

Loved it. The twists and turns were excellent & the alien world was brilliantly realised. More please!

Festen 9/10
A unique film of Thomas Vinteberg - whole film was shot hand-held, with no artificial lighting
the plot is okay (though to me is predictable)

J. Edgar 8/10 Leonardo DiCaprio and Armie Hammer both 10/10, the script had a few turgid moments though.

Kon Tiki, 1950s winner of Oscar for best documentary, interesting to see it is currently being re-made into a motion picture. Very interesting story. Though the documentary is old fashioned, there is something quaint and very brave about it. I was just at the museum about it in Oslo, and would highly recommend to anyone visting Norway. 7/10

Headhunters, subtitled Norwegian film adaptation of Jo Nesbo novel. It's entertaining, a bit OTT, verging on the fantastical, but if you don't take it too seriously it's a decent enough Thriller. 6/10

Friends with Benefits , rom com starring the very likable duo of Mila Kunis and Justin Timberlake. Great chemistry between the two leads, and I think they are two much under rated actors, the story starts out strong , but it flounders rather badly in the middle, nonetheless as Rom Coms go, it's not terrible. 6/10

Rebecca...9/10.

Would have been just perfect if it wasn't for the constant background music.

Made in 1940!
