Well James first and foremost congratulations on making it this far in the competition. I have to be completely honest with you James and say I thought your mentor had a stroke of genius with that song choice. You have really hit the nail on the head tonight with the vulnerability theme. You are such an interesting contestant and I hope you can deliver with your next performance like this as you will have a ticket to the semi-final in my opinion if you do.

The Way My Heart Beats
James, I think you done a good job with that song choice. Personally I much preferred the first track as I feel that is more your style of music but that’s not taking away from this performance. You really give 100% to every performance that you give and tonight the energy level was incredible. James I wish you the best of luck for the voting tonight as I have a funny feeling that this show will be a very close call.

James Michael

I loved the contrast in these two performances, one of them was absolutely amazing to just listen to as it allowed you to show your pure, natural talent and you created a really atmospheric feel with your soulful yet edgy voice as you sang it. The other song allowed you to cement your place as a bit of a showman, it was much more interactive with the audience and it showed that you can deliver great vocals whilst still having the audience up on their feet and delivering a memorable performance. You really deserve to make the semi-final and I hope that you get there.

Some great comments for James, but how will he fare in the results tonight?

Up next is Aiden Grimshaw , mentored by I've Got Class, hoping to prove a hit with these two performances!

Riverbanks
Aiden, again like James big congrats on making it this far through the competition. Throughout this competition Aiden I have always been one of your biggest fans and tonight Aiden I somehow don’t see that changing. That was a really good performance, you just gave. You are such an interesting artist and I always look forward to your performances. I will be honest in saying I would have loved a much more intense performance as I love the intensity you bring to the stage but still a great performance.

Set Fire to the Rain
Aiden I fully understand why your mentor gave you this song to sing. You did bring an element of intensity to the stage, but I have to be honest and say I am a little confused by the song choice tonight. I thought the theme for this song choice was theatricality, which was to be an energetic upbeat performance. That version of the song worked very well for you, but for me it didn’t really slot into the theme.

Aiden Grimshaw

There seemed to be opposing problems with these two songs. I thought that the first song choice was okay but Tyler's vocals were far too mellow for you whereas I think the second song was a lot stronger overall but Charlie's vocals were too edgy for your voice. I think both song choices were good but in terms of what Aiden is all about, I don't know if that was there, it just felt like the normal dark feel of your performances was slightly lacking in both songs tonight. I enjoyed both performances tonight Aiden but I think that you've had better weeks.

Janet

Neopolitan Dreams
Like the boys Janet big congrats on making it this far through the competition. Janet I have not been your biggest fan throughout this competition but I have to say with that performance I am slowly starting to really get you as a performer. Vocally I thought that was a pretty good performance. Janet keep up this level of performance and you could potentially be here right until the end of the show. Well done.

Jungle Drum
Janet I will be honest and say that I wasn’t the biggest fan of that performance. Personally I much preferred your first performance. For me this just felt like your were possibly pushed a little too far out of your zone. I hope that the public will disagree with me on this one as I am really getting you as a performer and would like to see you here for the next show.

Janet Devlin

This was just you in your element Janet, people always say that you can't do upbeat but I think this sort of disproves that theory as your theatricality performance was energetic, had a really cool feel to it and was just very much a Janet spin on theatrical performances. Similarly, you showed your vulnerability beautifully in the other song, Lisa Mitchell is a fantastic artist and you performed the song beautifully, it was so subtle and pure and I just loved it. I hope everyone votes for Janet as she deserves a place in next week's show!

Hannah

Forever Young

*Standing Ovation*

Wow Hannah that was phenomenal. It was such a brave choice for your mentor and one that I think will pay dividends. Hannah that was such a beautiful yet a haunting performance. I will be honest Hannah and say I was really worried when I got the song list and saw this song. I was thinking that your mentor had made a huge blunder picking this song as I automatically assumed it was the same song I had given Stacey in week 1 but I am so glad it wasn’t. For me Hannah you have just excelled yourself to another level apart from the others in the competition.

Tongue Tied
Yet another great performance Hannah. I really hope the public give you the support that you deserve in this competition. I also hope that your mentor continues to grow in confidence with you and gives you some more awesome song choices and gives you the opportunity to go all the way in the competition. Best of luck Hannah.

Hannah Bradbeer

Hey Hannah, erm I didn't quite get the first performance, it's not the type of song that just one person would sing as it's largely about the harmonies and the contrasting tones. For that reason, I didn't really get the choice for you and thought that you weren't able to do the song justice. However, the second song choice, whilst being better, felt quite slow for my liking, it was a nice song but it still lacked the edge we have seen in previous performance and I would have just preferred for you to really show your edgy, gritty tone.

Perfect

Girls like the others big congrats on making it this far in the show. That was a really nice performance tonight girls. While I have been away for a few days girls it is clear to see that you girls have been working extremely hard not only on your solo sections of songs or harmonies but you girls seem so much closer as a groups and are beginning to really look like you want to succeed in the show. Best of luck for your next performance girls.

Like A Lady
Now ladies that is what I call a performance. I will forgive you girls for singing another girlbands song lol . But this was an incredible performance. This is the type of song I have been waiting on you girls doing for a few weeks. I feel that if you girls released this you would smash the charts up. For me girls you have outdone yourselves with this performance.

The Estrelles

Two absolutely brilliant performances from you girls there, it was just so refreshing to see you all coming out with a very upbeat and fun performance, it was cool to see you really working the stage as a group and I thought that you did a great job. The second song was also absolutely outstanding, it was so subtle yet beautiful and your harmonies were outstanding, I absolutely loved it, well done. I really hope that the public vote for you girls as you deserve your place in the competition.
