That's awful. I feel for you. Two years ago I had all my vintage Star Wars stuff stolen from my attic. Its one of those attics with no wall blocking the adjoining house's attic. At the time squatters had moved in next door. The police said it looked like they crawled across to my attic and nicked the stuff, then did a runner. I was gutted.

I'm slowly buying stuff from ebay to replace it, but its not the same.

Sorry to hear about your situation.

So she's hurt the children as well. Very nice, that is.

I feel for you too my friend. When my ex and I were divorcing she decided to take things that I had of my fathers and destroy photos of my father and I together and I didn't have many because he was killed when I was young and kept telling her solicitor I was lying I was distraught.

Having just come from a failed marriage with similar results I can feel for you. All my DW stuff was destroyed by my ex. I was just lucky that I had all my DW episodes on an external hard drive which wasn't at home at the time. I also lost photo albums and family history papers.

From this and what you told me before, she sounds deranged! Have you managed to get away from her yet?

OMG that's scary. That's going to be one of the first things I check when I get to the point of looking for somewhere.

My mum and dad broke up quite amicably, with no such stuff as described here, as far as I'm aware. Looks like they were very much the exception.

Other then paying child support for a child that isn't mine (I don't mind, he's a good kid and he didn't choose his mother) and the ordered spousal support (insert appropriate cursing here) I have no contact with her any more.

It is lovely hearing from other DW fans as none of my friends are! I was disgusted when I read this especially as it has sentimental value to you- I've only been collecting DW merchandise for 6 years but my collection is quite large and I admit I don't like anyone moving it! My DVDs are the most important to me as I've only been collecting the classics for around 3 years and have 103! I also have Dapol figures etc but when it was my birthday party a few months ago, I invited many friends round and a few treated everything like rag dolls, all my DW collections were in a state. If I would you, I would go round to her house, maybe she's kept them somewhere and if it's true break every precious thing of hers including her tarty brain

Based on what you've told us your ex sounds like a right see-you-next Tuesday. You're well rid of her.

The only comfort in all this is that someone else will have the dubious pleasure of dealing with this selfish unfeeling woman - you are well rid.

I hate her and hope her next poo is a hedgehog. She obviously knew how much it meant to you, even if it was just junk to her. I feel a bit silly now for sulking just because my missus cancelled a recording of Who "because you've seen them all before".

Thanks everyone for your kind words, I'm trying to move on now. I suppose its sounds silly because its only a bunch of toys but I feel bereaved. My late mum bought me all this stuff for birthdays and christmas in the 70s as well as saving every scrap of money I was given to buy my own and I'd kept it in near mint condition since then. When I felt sad I used to go and look at it all and remember the happy times.

I'll get over it but what a waste, these toys aren't exactly in abundance anymore and have been telling my son for ages that he would be inheriting it all. She also got rid of all my Star Wars stuff, all kept in original boxes (loads of space ships) with instruction booklets and everything, all my star wars figures and the backing cards. Its all gone!

It's not only women. I had a similar thing with my ex. Not DW stuff, but my late father's walnut bureau and various other stuff. Awful.
