If it ever happens I'm starting up a Marlon's Gone party thread and EVERYONE'S invited - bar those who think Emmerdale's consistently perfect.

Watching on +1, I didn't think it could get any worse but it has I really don't care Mr & Mrs scruffy and please put a top on tiny one you can neither act nor are you sexy and you wont be able to see over the dashboard. I thought Declan was broke Don't get me started on that farcial end with Belle threatening the loan sharks, come on now, please stop with this rubbish and Lisa taking yet more time off work 2nd episode is now on and the farce continues, how come Lisa can give money to Belle to go and get a sandwich at the cafe. I can't be arsed to write anymore about these 2 episodes

ROFL!!!!! Horrendous isn't he? But I thought he'd be a suitable accompaniment to equally horrendous Heino!

I've been listening to John Lennon again today, haven't done that for ages but this thread whetted my appetite - and I had to erase the memory of Heino! But thanks to MissLola for giving me the best laugh I've had in ages

Won't be watching tonight's episodes until tomorrow but they're not too good JR and tinkie eh? I hope there's not more wailing from Ali - my ears can only take so much torture!!

Bit quiet in here today Something to liven you up.

(un) Usual events in Emmerdale

1) Local vet is very rude and uncaring see the following Headline on the frontpage of the Hotten Courier (now a free Paper)

LOCAL VET MISTREATED OUR HAMSTER AND LAUGHED AT US.
Today a pair of young sisters Jennifer 15 and Kylie 17 told the Courier how the Local vet mistreated and killed their Pet Hamster and laughed at them. Kylie wailed he treated our poor Hamster horribly and the made horrible jokes about she cried.

2) Cain loses his bottle, the horrible consequences are all sorts of petty criminals can walk the local streets extorting money. As well as allowing Pathetic layabouts and skiivers to roam the village see Robbie and various useless Spencers.

3) Belle is mightier than the sort, see her with her spade, making up stories of abuse to see off argumentative (Mainly with each other mind) money lenders.

4) Charity likes to think she is a memeber of the sweeney or Makepiece from Dempsey and Makepiece what with her driving skills and kneeing criminals, Jack Regan and Dempsey would be proud of her.

5) What country is Jimmy lost in now, last heard in Budapest he hasn't be heard of since, someone should alert interpol.

6) Recipe for disaster Carl hires the pixie to drive, thats really going to end well, meanwhile Priya you can do much better than the Pixie step away now.

And finally 7) the lesbians Hatchet and rubbish Ruby are together again whooppee, yuck.

The bit when Belle jumped out of the van armed with her mighty spade? I WAS supposed to laugh wasn't I?

Excellent Kwynne

And: Would Paddy and Rhona REALLY forget in all their excitement about Marlon being the kid's (forgotten his name!) dad and how it would affect HIM if they moved to NZ, even if only for a couple of years?

Enjoyed kick-ass Charity. But did think she was rather hard on Cain. She obviously knows that Zak nearly killed him so must also know why Cain holds a grudge (to say the least!). But was there no thought at all that Cain is still using a stick so might not be the man he used to be? Not such a hard man now and he knows it? And perhaps being on the receiving end of a 'good scudding' himself has made him nervous around violence? That he's completely lost his confidence?

And strangely enough I can understand Zak feeling a bit emasulated when all his women had to come to his defence Sheepie has started another thread about the men turning a bit wimpy in t'dales and I completely agree - it needs a shot of pure testosterone pretty damn quick! (ooh I'm feeling all hot and bothered at the thought! )

How has Lisa fallen so far? From the heartbreaking rape storyline last year to a vacuous, short tempered, unsympathetic pain in the backside nowadays? The actress must be somewhat disappointed to say the least.

I remember a few years back when Alice died and Lisa was acting way out of character and basically trying to take over and raise young Sampson. She was like the child catcher in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang the way she dismissed all of Sam's efforts to be a father so its not the first time that Lisa's character has been 'changed' to suit a storyline.

Any time you hear them the Actors always say how wonderful their storylines are. Are they lying? possibly.

The only person Cain has threaened is Cameron and even then he seems all mouth, he may indeed have lost his bottle.

I don't blame Rhona and Paddy forgetting about Moron I wish I could.

Cain is about to get his mojo back, I can feel it rumbling in the background and Charity's harsh words to him last night will be the trigger for his comeback. Go on Cain, make my day.

Good point. She was quite overbearing then too wasn't she? Maybe it's just a facet of her personality that comes out from time to time? Or maybe it's just crap writing!

LOL! I was starting to enjoy Marlon after the horror that was Maurel Mk 1 but just know I am going to go back to finding him an annoying twerp all over again.

I hope so, I really do. Cain without teeth is not a pleasant sight. Of course I don't mean his actual teeth, that would be very unpleasant indeed, but I think you know what I mean

Well said Kwynne, I like the name pixie, it's easier to type than the tiny one and I did think it was strange in the vets focusing on the 2 extra's and then again in the cafe, pouring out their hearts to Ruby, call me heartless but it didn't do anything for me

Thanks a million for that Musty. Poor, poor Ashley. Don't seem to hear many JL songs now, mostly old Beatles. Agree with ONJ, JL and GH were the real musical genius.

PMc IS just embarrassing now and RS, just came along for the ride, but has gone all high and mighty

Sorry everybody - off topic I know.

Totally agree with that. I don't think I've ever thought the same of him since 'The Frog Song' Although my toddler niece absolutely loved it! But let's face it - since he's been a solo artist PMc has come out with some absolute crap!

Sorry, off topic again

Another episode that I can write off, Lisa is really getting on my nerves, Belle got into the van and Zak didn't know. Does Ruby always butt into other peoples conversation, it's extremely rude. I was going to say that taking Leo away from his dad was wrong but as someone on t'daily reminded me, Marlon was going to quite happily run away with Laurel not that long ago, so I will shut up. Please get rid of the pixie & his mum and also Mr scruffy is another one that butted in when it had nothing to do with him

O.M.G. I've only seen 2 minutes but I'm already seething at the inconsistencies.

Right, yesterday they all got back to Wishing Well Cottage after Charity had kneed one of the loan sharks in the goolies yes? At that time, WHILE THE LOAN SHARKS WERE STILL IN THE AREA, Lisa happily gave Belle £5 to go and spend on herself at the cafe. which Belle duly did. Leaving the house quite alone, just after they'd got back from fighting off 'bad men'. (MrL and me noticed this straight away yesterday and were saying 'are they mad letting her go out by herself?') Yet today Lisa is all protective? "I'm walking you to the bus stop, no arguments"? Bit late for that Lisa! She could have been kidnapped walking down a quiet country lane by herself to the village centre yesterday!

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
