A new version of an Alex Cross movie after "Kiss the Girls" and "Along came the spider", with somebody other than Morgan Freeman playing the title character.

Well, I suppose it could work, as long as it was Denzel Washington or Forest Whitaker or somebody of that calibre ... and not a limited character actor who is primarily known for poor comedy films involving him dressing up as an old woman ...

Although Michael Caine and Meryl Streep would make an excellent Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru

Morgan Freeman was never Alex Cross for me, the description of Alex Cross is a young Muhammad Ali, but taller so a big solid man. I would have liked Idris Elba for the role but with Luther I suppose fear of typecasting would happen.

Tyler Perry isn't good enough for me either though.
