Two new episodes of Storage Wars were shown the other night. Usual gang went to buy units based in Las Vegas. Looked it bit like they all stayed in the same hotel and socialised together of an evening....cheers Jarrod, cheers Dave

If that was the one where Dave gets up a lot earlier than the rest to go and buy some units before they get up it's not a new one.

Ok...I stand corrected

BTW...found this online:

"I tried to watch "Storage Wars" and was put off when "Darrell" pulled a sealed blue cooler out of his truck, while addressing the camera, and placed his cooler into the goods being pulled from a unit he won during the auction. Low and behold, when the blue cooler Darrell planted was opened by his people for inspection - it just happens to be filled with large amounts of precious metals like silver and antique coins. Were we not supposed to notice his planting of the cooler filled with his own personal objects? Maybe next time he should do his planting while the camera is off or fixed on something else!

I emailed this revelation to the show's producers and they emailed me an apology. Furthermore, they stated that they never stated that the show wasn't staged - and any assumption on the viewers' part that nothing's staged is solely the fault of the viewer."

^^^ That's an interesting post planetnokia, by the way I know it's short notice but there is a programme on Dave tonight that looks similar to storage wars called storage hunters.
It's repeated in the early hours and there is dave ja vu, also it may be on later in the week.

I've got a feeling that Barry is going to get his own show.

Any idea when and if?

Cheers

Should be the 12 of April. There's two hours of it on History UK from 9 to 11 O'Clock, no doubt replacing IRT Deadliest Road and Mud Men which finished on Thursday

i do enjoy this show (Was just about to make a thread then i searched for this)

Love Brandi Absolutely delightful.

Dave is annoying but i find him entertaining sometimes.

I have also heard rumours about 'valuble' items being set-up in lockers for them to find.

Hopefully it's only so often.

Also the final value profits are a joke. They sometimes total it up before they've cleared all of the locker. Also they've yet to sell any of it yet so it's not profit.

Also the likes of Dave bring 3 trucks and loads of staff to drive and 'process' the lockers... Why doesn't the fuel costs & labour costs get taken off the profit?

Also Storage Hunters spin-off. What a joke. Totally set-up.

Yep , have to agree on those points , Brandi is rather cute

I dislike the way they 'tot' up the value of things ... "that's a hundred dollar bill , right there " when they are clearly overestimating prices . I'd like to see them actually "sell" something as well !!

They get the experts to appraise stuff at the end but I've only ever seen money swap hands on one occasion.

Spaced out last night on History and ended up watching Storage Wars for the first time, all I can say is it's less than a day later and I'm already trying to find all the previous episodes so I'm completely up to date. I love it.

Not too keen on the storage wars texas series at the moment, and the first episode of the new series was'nt up to much (seemed dull without dave hester and the new buyer was a bit rubbish)-Too be honest I'm enjoying watching Auction Hunters on Discovery more at the moment
