Yes penguin can blow them up as well.

Just would of made it easier if you could select the suits whenever you lik as the first game did. I hated using Robins acrobat suit to collect those high bricks.

If you're free playing just fly up then switch to the penguin?

Finally 100% last night, bit of a slog towards the end especially with some of the buggy gold bricks, and what is the point of having Supergirl right at the end?
Overall I really enjoyed it, best Lego game yet I think.

I never saw the point in that either. So you get all the bricks and now you can buy supergirl.

Now I realise their is nothing else to do in the game so its kinda pointless in unlocking her.

Can I ask, what's the point of all the bolts that you collect? What do they do apart from build up your points?

Are the bricks just collectables?

the studs you pick up turn to points and allow you to buy characters and things in the game. I think you have to max out the stud collection on each level too to gain true superhero, or whatever its called in this version.

I take it that's explained when you begin playing right?

dunno Void. Its my wife that plays the games, I just gathered that from watching her.
I know one of the trophies/achievements is normally for being a true collector by maxing out the yellow bar on each level.

Hmmm. I might give it a go. If it was just Batman then I wouldn't bother, but there's so many DC characters that it looks lot's of fun.

There are 15 levels in the game and on each level you need to collect a specific aount of studs (which equate to points), you have to rescue a civiian and you have to collect 10 minikits which eventually build into a vehicle (such as the batmobile, batwing etc).

When you play through the levels first of all, you are doing so in story mode and are limited to using a couple of chracters. These vary from level to level and could be batman & robin or batman & superman.

Once you complete a level in story mode, this opens up free play of that level and you can use any character that you have unlocked. It's generally not possible to rescue all the civilians or unlock all minikits in a level in story mode as certain collectibles reuire you to use characters which are only available in free play.

In addition to the levels, there is free roam around Gotham where you have to collect gold bricks, and rescue civilians.

It's certainly the best out of all the lego games I've played (the only ones I haven't played are the Potter ones) and my play time was just over 30 hrs when I completed it to 100%.

How in the heck did some of you guys complete this game so quickly.
Wife has been on it since release and now at 92%

she has one more citizen in peril to find (hasnt a clue where), 3 mini kits - she knows where and whatever else to earn. She just done the bonus level which was quite time consuming.

Wife stuck trying to find her last citizen in peril. Even with the red brick on there are no arrows coming up. Getting a bit frustrating now.
