Do you need a plan with tethering?
You can get The One Plan Sim only from Three for £25 a month which includes unlimited data + tethering or you can get The Full Monty Sim only from Tmobile which is on offer at the moment on a 12 month contract for £21 a month which has unlimited.data but I don't think tethering is included. |

Three do 300 mins/3000 texts/AYCE data on a 1 month rolling contract for £15. You can get 600 mins if you agree to a 12 month term. (no tethering)
Three do a one plan which includes tethering for £25pm. (1 month) T-Mobile do the same plan as three for £21pm (12 month) or £26pm (1 month) with no tethering. All these plans are truly unlimited unlike giff gaff and have no fair use policy apart from limiting p2p traffic at peak times. (like every network) Check your coverage before signing up to either network. |

Three now traffic manage from 4pm till midnight to an unusable limit, useless for tethering.

According to http://support.three.co.uk/SRVS/CGI-...,Case=obj(4046) it's the top 5% users and in one of the links on there it says p2p is slowed down, nothing else was ticked (which I find hard to believe that it is only p2p).

I have an unlimited plan with three at £13. The phone is a Galaxy Europa which is virtually useless but the plan is cheap if you already have a phone.

They used to. But now they stopped after many complaints for the first week they did it. So now there is no throttling at all. Even for heavy users. Three is back to how it was. Fast uncapped speeds, no fair use and no throttling.
