I think that's more than reasonable. I didn't have service for 19 hours, so this is a nice gesture. I too would have preferred the chocolate

I know that but on this occasion it would have been a good customer service deal to give a £10 high street voucher and as i said its happened with other companies and 02 won't be the last so people had no signal for a few hours get over it.

And yes i know some people need there phones but i seem to remember a time not too many years ago when we didn't have mobiles and we seemed to get out of the 1900's without them.

I personally wasnt looking for compensation, though was a pain in the butt for me when this happened. It was only when "giffgaff" mailed me to offer compensation that I realised there was anything. Just wish they gave me maybe 50 extra texts or something, rather than something that is of no use to me.

I personally wasn't inconvenienced at all, I was able to call all day but if Tesco give me some vouchers I'll gladly accept them.

Have you tried restarting your phone and putting your postcode into the network status page

Does it start working again if you move a couple of miles? If nobody has reported anything to O2, single mast issues wont show up on the checker.

You should ring O2 customer services and report the issue, they might not know about it.
