Whenever I am finished with whatever game I am playing, I always go as far as unplugging the surge protector from the wall socket, (which has the Xbox 360 and TV plugged into it), and there has been a few occasions where I have forgotten to unplug the surge protector from the wall, and then I feel like I could kick myself when I walk into the bedroom again and realize that I have forgotten such a simple task as unplugging the surge protector from the wall!

If I don't unplug my stuff, I can't sleep for some stupid reason. The 360 is only plugged in when being used.

Had mine for a good 3 years and have never switched the plug off. Got so many plugs around the area that it would be a chore, should really get around to sorting the appliances out properly.

I leave it on. As long as the xbox console is off.

Its no different from putting sky on standby.

i normally unplug if im going to work, im im off though,i may leave everything on standby

I find having to reset the date annoying too but, for the sake of not having a light keeping me awake, I still do it. Well, I can't always be bothered to change the settings actually. It is a tiny bit amusing to see my save game files dated as 2005 when the games came out years later!

I allway unplug it after playing on XBOX and PS3 too.

Just from a saving energy POV we should unplug, but yes I leave mine plugged in.

I don't get how the light on the power supply keeps people awake. Its not like its a 60w bulb.

The light doesn't actually keep me awake. It's just distracting in a dark room! Yes, I should just close my eyes in order to go to sleep...
