The sale has been brilliant thus far...picked up a brace of brand new games at knock-down prices, and a few DLC packed collections of others with a smattering of impulse buys too, for a total of 6 games.

Shockingly, my steam account now has 120 games attached to it.

Damn was hoping Witcher 2 was going to get the offer of the day, but it seems Arkham City has won the last poll. Damn I already have 3 copies of that game.

Any hope Witcher 2 might get another chance? I want to buy it but am hoping for slightly cheaper then its current £17.99 sale price.

I'd be very surprised if it didn't turn up as one of the daily deals before the end of the sale. It's already been on sale once as one of the Flash Sales at 60% off (think it was around £11), but i held off in the hope that it might drop to 75% off in a daily deal later on, so fingers crossed!

I got bought Duke Nukem Forever on release, so got the first DLC free. Managed to snag the 2nd for £1.57, and this morning I got Just Cause and Just Cause 2 off my wishlist, £6.50ish the pair.

Now just waiting on some of the Lego games to go cheaper than the 30/40% they are off currently.

The Lego games are not ports as far as I can tell. All games were released on PC at the same time as the console versions.

I use an Xbox Controller and Lego Batman (the only one I have on PC) plays just as it does on my PS2. Lego Batman 2 is a new game so will again work fine as it was released on PC.

Only bought the Unreal pack so far. Bargain for the price. Still have the disks for half of them but better to have on Steam methinks! I remember playing the first one on my Pentium 2 233mhz with 8mb Voodoo accelerator card. That was a high end game then and I ran it with average settings unlike the beast I have today which could run 50 copies of this game at the same time.

Have most of the other steam games already, many from previous sales that I haven't even booted up.

Does anyone know what the deal is with Just Cause 2. Just found out they released DLC for it but it wasn't listed anywhere this morning. Now I am at work, in a non-3G area, so can't check if it's included in the base bundle now.

It's £1.70 for all the DLC, it's all just weapons and extra aircraft's and cars.

So not worth buying? Is the multi player a mod?

It's awesome game if you like games like diablo. It's made by many of same people who made the older diablo games. The second one from what I've played in the beta is far better and improves on a lot things.

IF you pre order the second game you get the first one free. So maybe it's better you play the demo and if like it, you could get both for £15.

there so much content on the game I personally don't see the point.

The multiplayer is Mod yes, I don't play much MP myself so have not checked it out. Will do at some point though.

I remember stepping out of the 'Vortex Rikers' for the first time and drinking in the (then) unparalled vista before me.

i also remember the corridor where you are ambushed by the first Skarjj you fight, the part where the lights blink off one by one and leave you in darkness until the growl/scream and the thing launches itself at you.

A great game of the era.

Got so many deals this time round! Half-Life series, Thief series, Blood Bowl: Legendary Edition. Having to exercise some serious restraint

Got L4D2 on the cheap. The only real problem I have had with STEAM so far is the amount of errors that occur when loading a game and all the fixes I have to go through.

Yeah, I went for that one.

Also picked up Dear Esther for £1.74... probably the best £1.74 I've ever spent! Not a lot of people's cup of tea, I'd imagine, being more like a virtual art installation than an actual game, but I thought it was magnificent. And while the "game" itself only clocks in at about 90 minutes, I've spent at least twice that since online reading people's varying interpretations of it.
