I actually found Lydia interesting to watch--although I didn't really like her. As it turned out she didn't stay that long so I never really got to see how she might have impacted the house.

She wasn't interesting to you. She was to me. Far more than Deana.

It's interesting, though, that this thread isn't about Lydia's segment as a whole, only the mildly negative parts of what she said about Deana.

Lydia's assessment seemed quite reasonable allowing for the fact that she's actually spent time with Deana and we've only watched her. As a viewer, I don't find Deana boring ('slightly boring' was Lydia's actual phrase) as such but I value her far more for the character she's shown under pressure rather than being an especially interesting HM.

Lydia did say Deana was doing well and congratulated her for standing her ground and starting to suss people out. She also backed up the view that Deana hasn't really done anything to provoke Conor's dislike.

Overall a balanced and legitimate viewpoint.

Well I like Deana but I do think that Lydia is a very smart girl and she is not far wrong when she says that if Conor was not there Deana would fade away somewhat without the storyline of Conor on her back because basically Deana is a quiet hm, very similar to Sara!

Me too! Conor barely featured during the first 3 weeks, whereas Deana was taking on Arron and Luke S at various times.

it makes me think she wants to be shilpa shetty part 2 the only story she had was the jade and co bullying her. although saying that she's a nice girl but not a winner in my eyes

Deana's interaction with Conor has been minimal to the point of non existent so I don't understand why you would think that.

We hardly ever saw him but other HMs said he was quite funny and up for a laugh. There are posts on this thread saying some events with Deana never make the HLs - that may well have been true of Conor too. In the first few weeks the show did seem to focus on a relatively small number of HMs. Sara has remained pretty much invisible until this week.

And now its becoming the Connor and Deana show. He can't shut up about her, she Can't about him, both seem to break the norm rules by talking aboout each other its getting tedious.

Connor needs to man up and get over being nominated on the 1st night and realise Deana was put in awkward Position by BB.

She needs to get over him hating her and start enjoying herself more.

Yes, I like Deana too but I do agree with you, because Deana does not do much, she is a lot quieter than most. I don't think that Deana is as entertaining as Lauren and these are my two favourites.

So, like you, I think had she not had the Conor situation she would have gone by now too! Either that or she would have gone under the radar like Sara!

I don't think Deanas done a lot and I think if it wasn't for Connors outburst she wouldn't be championed like she is. Most of the time she kept herself to herself only really getting involved with others when she's had to.
