Been lurking for a long time though I would add a few starting with a Yorkshire specific one.....Junction 32 Retail outlet...I would rather listen to that bloody go compare ad that the chirpy concisely thought lyrics on this bloody advert

also the isme ads on loose women this "isme" one stuffing her face with cake

one from the STV region "drive to buy" is sponsored by a name (not familar with in area) either solicitors or properties but features a young girl in garden drawing a bee lands on her nose and squeals and then continues to squeal into the house! (voiceover says "time to move" ) --- (whats a little girl running away from a bee got to do with a property show about homes? - and "moving"?) - some of these sponsor ads make little sense to me!

I sometimes find the sponsorship ads possibly more annoying than the ads themselves! .... going back on VM ads I still like the Usain Bolt ads .... not keen on their new ones though ... didn't know VM were still running the Usain Bolt ads but then again its "olympic" season so its possible they started up again
I think it's just spoofing JK's constant use of the lie detector; changing it to the 'cheeky-o-meter' or whatever.

The new Crunchy Nut advert! Whoever thought watching someone get attacked by a snake would persuade more people to buy a breakfast cereal.

Just so everyone else can appreciate the Lennon & McCartney style geniusness of the ad in question;

I hate that ad too though I can see their point, of course you prefer to be with companies/people you trust but everyone on Ratedpeople.com is just giving their opinion, what if 1 in 10 says this tradesman is crap and you get a crap experience?

The subtext of the ad is basically saying 'middle class people, can you trust that working class oik to sort out your plumbing'.

Well I posted my top 20 most hated adverts last week, but I can't help updating it , this is them updated to see if anyone else agrees It's a scale of how annoying they've been to me over the week meaning:

v - Is the ad has gone down as I haven't seen it in a while or it's gone away

^ - The ad has annoyed me more so it's gone up

- - If it's a new annoying ad and

~ - If it's re-entered my brain and tv and is annoying me all over again

v20. BT - Haven't seen these ads as much in a while, so that's a good thing

-19. Comet/PC World - This ad didn't bother me at first, but now it's starting to grate because it seems like it's on 700 times a second "You need a new TV." Ehm, no I don't, now go away and stop talking at me with a very patronizing tone

^18. Santander - This advert is purely DESIGNED to be annoying, back on the TV and back in my most hated adverts the now, and I've mentioned it before, IT JUST WON'T GO AWAY

-17. Virgin Media - Right, ok, I liked David Tennant as Doctor Who right and whatever you think of him he's a great actor and these adverts have been mentioned before but the buffering one I'm going to focus on in particular, it's just cringeworthy I mean, I would love to (and have ) smash a computer up when it buffers with a baseball bat but the crap effects of this ad and the awkward silence in the living room after he's smashed it (you know what I mean) is really uncomfortable, annoying and makes me feel very embarrassed for some reason and I'm not even the one in the ad

^16. EDF Energy - I mentioned before, I hated the Olympic ad, SO WHY AM I SEEING MORE OF IT?

-15. Aldi - I've just never got these adverts, I don't think there's any humour to get, they're just sh*t, especially the new one with the farmers. And the shop's sh*t.

-14. Corrs Light - Oh, for f*ck sake. Jean Claude Van-Damme making snow angels in July? Seems out of place no? While "singing" "Take My Breath Away". Well "boom boom" anyway. Load of b*llocks.

-13. Co-Op - "There's something about Summer that makes me crave salad." Is that right, well I don't care. Also it's on all the time.

v12. UPS - This advert has gone away for a bit recently, but is still here in my list as it pops up unwanted from time to time, pain in the arse

-11. Wonga - New ads then from the legalized loan-sharks that are SO boring, something to do with the old man on a rocket-board or something, and I can't even remember the other new advert that's doing the rounds the now, and, of course, as usual, the old people puppets are just as creepy as ever

More another time

Can you think if it was Jezza asking on his show those questions .... "DID YOU EAT ALL THE CREAM PIES" ---- LIE DETECTOR SAYS "YES YOU DID" (caps for him shouting)

ACCORDING TO THE CHEEKY BINGO SITE YOU WON £1,000 BUT FAILED TO TELL THE BENEFITS SYSTEM TRUE OR FALSE? lol

"I'm gonna change you into a frog" . I'll not say as to what I would change the little b**ger into.

Yes Coors Ligh(te)..the sensitivity of a man lying on the snow having his breath taken away just after there has been a fatal avalanche...

The soap powder advert with the teacher in a class of kids with dubbed voices 'What colour is my shirt?' 'Red!''Grey!'
Pathetic

I'll always be guaranteed to find a new one to irritate me during a Test Match. The latest one is that bloody Borgias ad with Jeremy Irons shouting "We are a family..."

I love you Jeremy but do me a favour mate, get the f-ck off my cricket, there's a good boy.

The Coors Lite ad drives me insane. Van-Damme in double denim and a dodgy mullet making snow angels isn't retro or ironic or whatever the **** it's meant to be. It's just bloody annoying. "Boom boom".

I really don't like the new Sky advert. When two rainbows appear in the sky, the second one will have the colours inverted (i.e. VIBGYOR instead of ROYGBIV). The brainboxes at Sky seem to think they'd both be exactly the same

"You would have been..." *starts counting on fingers*
"Rocking from an early age my friend!"

No, you wouldn't even start trying to work it out, unless they're mature students or got held back 10 years in school. The '80s were 30 years ago now guys.
I must have been in the minority to just realise that 'Simon' from the BT ad was the same actor (Daniel Rigby) who played Eric Morecambe in that Eric and Ernie drama screened a couple of Christmases ago.

He was excellent in that and is a RADA-trained actor. Shame he's not extending his repertoire further, although I do quite like him in those ads. He's 29.

BTW, when did student 'digs' get so posh? They're living in a bloomin' luxury apartment and not a scruffy bedsit with posters of Che Guevara and Jimmy Hendrix covering tatty, woodchip magnolia walls.

The Argos Aliens "singing" the theme tunes before Emmerdale & Corrie, they're almost as bad as those two dopey Harvey's witches

Yes, I saw these for the first time last night; once after Emmerdale and once before Corrie. I will be muting the sound next time they are on.
