I'm of the opinion that Chicharito's game is off the ball.

He's not an out and out striker. If he gets the chance to poach, he will.

Last season he had a few injuries, certainly leading into the season. Quite a few of his appearances were sub appearances too. Yet he still had a massive impact. Crucial equaliser against Liverpool. The winner against Everton. The winner against Swansea. Scored the crucial equalizer against Chelsea. Hernandez constantly pops up with the goods when it most matters, he constantly scores winners/levelers when he's on the field. Some United fans sh** on him because he's not a Messi type player. He's a goal scorer, plain and simple. And over the course of the last season, he's worked on improving his overall game outside of the strengths he already has. You consistently hate on him, some United fans just fail to amaze me.

Though, it's your opinion, you're entitled to that.
Very fair points made

Like I said about 20 minutes ago, he gets the goals which is what matters. He only gets half as many as the top scorers (Goal every 0.4 vs something like 0.8, isn't it?) and I can only really see him improving to the borderline between the Yakubus / Dempseys and the 25+ a season players, but he still does a job.

Can't say I like his playing style, but he does his bit.

I refuse to get excited by all these RVP and Lucas rumours, it'll end the same as always, with them signing for others, god damn it!

That is not a knock, that isn't his game, it never will be, when he's in form, the guy is absolutely deadly in and around the box. I don't think he'll even be first choice at United, but as a goal scorer, there is no denying his ability.

If he has a full pre season, gets a bit of confidence back then he'll play a vital role for us in the coming seasons, his ability to pop up with important goals must be second to none.
Exactly what I think, just worded a lot better

I'm so confident that it's all baseless nonsense that if RVP does come to us, I will go to my next family function, strip naked and masturbate furiously on the dancefloor.

I'm that confident.

I'm now hoping we don't sign RVP

If we assume Kagawawa is playing behind the front men, then I'm actally struggling to think up a formation that would include him, Rooney and RVP, as I don;t think we'll be doing away with two wingers anytime soon.

Valencia----Carrick----Nani

----------Kagawa

---------Rooney---RVP

Maybe?

Non.

Young will play. Nani is merely window dressing now.

Nani is a better player than Young but each to their own. You can chop and change the wingers in that formation as you see fit.

What people are forgetting with Chico is that last season, he didn't have a summer break, he played very late into the summer for Mexico, then got a few injuries, so was always going to have a bit of worse season than his first.
This season, he has had a longer break to chill relax, and to heal any niggling injuries, so I think that we will see the best of him this season.

Girls, in general, don't make promises of masturbating in front of their families.

It's such a guy threat

I need milk for my cereals. I'm reminded reading above. I'm on All-bran with banana. It's not exactly Coco-pops but I'm trying to be good.

lewandoski seems to be letting it be known he would like to move to the premier league. At a rumoured 20million how would people feel about him instead of van persie?

Van persie is proven but the injury issues will still be in the background

lewandoski is only 23 so could have another 10 years or so at top level, apparently had a fantastic relationship with kagawa (though ive not watched their games so taking peoples word for it), but unproven in premier league. Suppose so is kagawa though.

Hmmm not so much

Shinji Kagawa has hit out at Borussia Dortmund teammate Robert Lewandowski as he feels the forward is too selfish.

The prolific striker has netted 20 goals in 33 Bundesliga appearances, as well as setting up six more, but the Japanese midfielder believes that the Poland international would be even more efficient if he made better use of the players surrounding him.

"Lewandowski's game is purely focused on trying to score himself, rather than playing together with his teammates," the Japan international stated to Nikkei. "He never looks around him for players who are in a better position than him. That's why I hardly get the ball from him. There's nothing you can do about that, though. That's simply the type of player he is.

"He has scored 20 times, and I have 13 goals to my name. The only difference is that he doesn't cooperate with other team members. I am convinced that he would score more goals if he made better use of me on the pitch."

fair enough

as i said, i never watched any of dortmunds games but read many reports and opinions saying they had a almost telepathic understanding of each other.

On the plus side if thats not the case then its better for us as it means kagawa is just a good player with anyone

I would prefer Van Persie, better player.

But y'just know we'll spunk £20 million on the guy and he'll pick up an injury right from the outset. I fancy Rooney and Van Persie could strike up an awesome partnership though.

It only came to mind because when we kept getting linked with Lewendowski in the Euros I googled him and that was one of the most viewed articles.

Part of me is glad that Kagawa spoke out - he looks quite timid but is obviously happy to stand his ground.

IF Lewendowski came then he'd soon learn there's no place for that kind of attitude (I remember Kiko and Welbeck being a bit like that in some reserve games I've seen) at O.T. so it wouldn't be an issue. Plus they'd both already know someone. Yeah yeah I know I'm just too girlie
