The two bolded sets of words contradict each other. If there is scheduled maintenance then maybe it could be announced beforehand and then people would know why DS wasn't working. I think it is a case of the site going down for whatever reason and the ' scheduled maintenance' bit being a bit of a mistake / mixed up with something else ??

But it's actually very annoying. It creates the impression that thy knew about it and didn't warn us.
