leave and come back
If I cant get the deal I want through retentions can I leave VM (I am out of contract) and get my girlfriend (who lives with me) to signup as a new customer and get the benifits of that? Also would it be possible to keep my same telephone number?

yes she can sign up as new customer and no you cannot keep the same number as it was allocated you and your account terminating the account freezes the number on there system for 6 months before reissuing it to new customer
