Ok, maybe the random battles do have a point, but I didn't care.

What I remember is that I got very, very bored with them very quickly when I kept getting pulled into them any time without warning whenever I wanted to sodding walk anywhere.

As you say unfortunately it's too short and should have had at least 3-4 more levels plus replacements for the two levels where you just wander around the pentagon and the interrogation centre.
The real thing which annoys me personally though is the 60's storyline with 1980's/1990's technology. (Laser sights on MP5K's in 1963, SA80's, M4's etc)

The only Zelda game i've ever played was the first DS one. I found it so boring I managed about 3 hours of game play before putting it on ebay.

I never got the Tomb Raider series. I borrowed the first game and tried hard to get into it but I also found ti extremely boring. Funny though as I love Uncharted 2.

Tomb Raider for me is something that has just aged terribly. I adored it when I was a kid, Tomb Raider 2 I thought was a masterpiece. Nowadays, I find the series quite dull and uninspiring.

Hopefully the latest effort will be excellent. It looks promising.

Same. I recentley got the HD collection for nostolgia purposes but found it dull as hell. I think I remember it being better than it actually was. Same with Silent Hill another boring game (That being said maybe the new reincarnations of both will be more interesting).
