So there's nothing, "to get over."
Doesn't matter at all to me!

Although, I would like to ask, If you are not interested in changing my opinion, then why did you quote and reply my first post and state more about your own opinion? If it didn't matter surely you would have left me be. The fact you did respond suggests otherwise...

Sorry, where did I say I wanted to change your opinion?

Let's not get carried away with this?

I don't believe i did say you said that, i only suggested it was the aim of your post

When one replies to a post they don't agree with, and states their own opinion and points, they obviously want to make that person think about it and ultimately change that persons opinion. It really is as simple as that.

Some realise they do this, for others it's subconcious. I guess it's the latter in your case.

So I take it you mean "No" I didn't.

I think we should leave the psychoanalysis of people we don't know, (if ever it is necessary), to the professionals, don't you?

DS can be so amusing some times, can't it?

Again, i didn't accuse you of saying you wanted to change my opinion, I only accused you of doing it. Different. Although if you can prove me wrong, please do.

As it happens, i do work in that area anyway. But it wasn't a psychoanalysis, i would have charged for that!

DS certainly can be amusing, or at least it will be as long as people like you are still allowed to post here

It came to mind seeing you two trying to persuade each other of your views.
Now, there's a thought, Jury service with doghouse.

He'd Know the result before he even heard what the trial was about and then ignore any evidence - then claim it didn't matter anyway!

It's you who keeps coming back trying as always, to "convert" me to your point of view when I've posted an opinion quoting no one else's, certainly never yours. I never look for your posts, but sure enough, even though I start complimentary threads on BBC programmes, (the most recent was the beginning of the week) the slightest criticism of the BBC in one of my posts and you're "there" with "undying support" telling me "I'm wrong."

Do you have an "alarm" that rings in your home when it happens?

Why does it bother you?

You could always choose another target, for a change.

However, you're constant rubbishing of other people's points, and inflammatory posting style, means that posters HAVE to reply.

Now, i have listed examples where the BBC HAS listened (they have listener panels), now just accept it, or "scroll down".

You can list what you like.
"Viewers panels?" who selects them?

Results of "panels" can be interpreted any way, any company chooses. Count up the number used in adverts for women's hair shampoos. "How surprising most said they liked them."

Neither the BBC nor you, can blame the abysmal coverage of the Jubilee on a viewer's panel. That's a cop-out.

I don't rubbish other people's points of view, I just won't be bullied and "converted" to yours, when you constantly quote my opinions..

There's no "HAVE to" about it.

You're under no obligation to reply.

So take your own advice, "scroll down" and I will too.

"What are the chances of that happening?"

You're wrong, simple.

I have explained to you all the ways, either comprehend them, or "scroll down".

Because all you provide is "hearsay" evidence, or BBC PR spin as you don't really know as you don't work for the BBC.

Those aren't facts.

No one is asking you to reason with me, that's your choice and you don't like it because I won't be converted to your point of view.
So why don't you scroll down instead of keeping bangin' on when I've told you enough times you won't change my opinion?
Why is it so important to you? There must be more interesting things you could do.

No, you're wrong. I know them as facts, i have my ear to the ground and plenty of contents and friends and colleagues.

What do you have? Apart from an unbendable belief that you're always right?

That sounds to me a lot like that well known authoritative source "my mates said". I might actually have had some support for your view before you came out with that chestnut.

Of all the people to start complaining about others being inflexible...

There is a flagrant and bizarre overuse of quotation marks by a certain poster on here.

It makes "it" very difficult to both "read" and also "take" seriously. I wonder if the poster does that annoying "quote" action with the "fingers" when talking"?"

Wow, four posts in a row without a DR post!

How long ago was it that Wimbledon finished? I hope thread isn't still on page one when we start Wimbledon 2013! (and yes, I realise I have just bumped it to the top again!)
