id love to see him testify at james holmes trial in the batman costume that would send sicko a message but doubt theyd allow that

Totally, and who among us has not had the occasional tantrum? The media made a mountain out of a molehill with that.

I have always had a lot of respect for Christian Bale. He has never been one to court publicity, and I am positive that he certainly did not do this for publicity, but because he thought it was the right thing to do. Top man.

Exactly. Actors like Christian just get in the ''zone'' and don't like being broken out of it.

Meryl Streep is the same. She acted like a bitch, on purpose, throughout the filming of The Devil Wears Prada so that she could stay in character. That doesn't mean she is a bad person as we all know she isn't. Its just what many actors do as they take their trade so seriously and that is why they are so good.

I love Christian for doing this and I have always had nothing but respect for him.

I've always felt he was a bit of a luvvie but massive respect to him for doing this. and double respect for doing it off his own back as well and not turning it into a media event.
