Buy this game today but how long does is game fu*king install, i spent hour try to install is game then on 10/17, a message pop up saying error and something else so I just turn off my ps3.

Bought this a few days ago and love it. But do you have to do a load of racing to get loads of money. I mean, I'm fine racing away, earning money, but then i come to a catagory and have to buy a specific car, so i have to go racing for hours to rack up enough cash for this new car and all the upgrades. This gets a bit tedious! Is this the way for the whole game ?

A trick i used to do was upload a B spec driver to share with friends and they would use him in the online B spec races. Also see if any of your friends have any cars available to share and use their cars for a bit.
You can add me if you like as i have a few decent cars up for sharing but unfortuantly at the moment my ps3 is bost so not sure if i'd be able to accept the request unless i can do it via the psn website. Add me anyway and i'll see if i can.

Yuffie - I don't think I've got many cars shared at the moment, but I do have every car in the game (apart from the specials you got for preordering and the like) so if there's anything specific you need I'm happy to share it.

familyguy - is this updates that are giving you grief? There have been loads since the game was released (new cars, tracks and features as well as bugfixes) so I dread to think how much there is to download for a new purchaser now....

Cheers lads for the offers of gifting cars but i moved house a few months ago and havent found a good new internet provider so I'll have to put that idea on hold for a while.

I'm loving the go karting tho, brilliant fun!

Thanks for that gother and flynn, it would do to download 1 out of 17 from what I saw on tues, so I probably to leave it for three hours, also Gother would it be alright to add u on PS3 if that what I to do online?

New DLC was released last week.

The Scion FR-S is avaliable for free & 4 variations of the Twin Ring Motegi circuit is avaliable for £3.99.

Both downloads were only 100kb so I presume they were already downloaded to the system as part of the last patch or something?


I wish they would release more tracks, Especially some of the one's from past GT games which didn't make it into GT5, Midfield Raceway & El Capitan for instance which were 2 of my favorite circuits from past games.

My only wish for GT is that it had more classic cars and less variants of the Nissan GTR etc.
I appreciate it is probably made in Japan/US so they proabably don't appreciate the EU love of the classic motor.
I would love nothing more than to race an MGB GT around some of those lovely tracks, or a Rover 3500,Daimler 250 V8 etc

I have never found a game that contained a good amount of classics (especially British ones) that wasnt a big pile of cack with terrible graphics and/or gameplay.

GT5 or Forza engine would be a great baseline.
When they release Forza or GT classic car edition I will be first in the queue.
I'd even buy an alternate console if they got it right.
