David Jones back on SSN

David Jones back on SSN
Is this pernament, or is it just because he hasnt got any football to present, as i dont think ive seen him on the News, since the whole Andy Gray and Richard Keys thing.

Also he is down as David, hasnt he always been dave

Why, i only started the thread, as ive only seen him do football for ages, and this morning he came onto the News, was wondering, if anybody new if it was pernament, or just like a fill in.

As far as I'm aware it's just an Olympics fill in thing

Jones wouldn't have any football to present until the second week of the Premier League season if Sky use the set up they did last season, so it probably is a temporary thing for the Olympics

I was out all day yesterday, but I've just seen a tweet from Simon Thomas talking about when he was presenting on SSN yesterday so I imagine they've brought everyone in for the Olympics

Simon Thomas still presents SSN during the season (along with FL Commitments)

David Jones is presenting The Footballer's Football Show which is returning this season (90 mins at 10pm on Thursday nights).

Chris Kamara and Ben Shepherd are again presenting Goals on Sunday.

No news re live PL presenters but the above doesn't suggest any change from last season.

Pleased they are bringing that show back, with the right guests it can be a good watch.

As far as live presenters are concerned Ed Chamberlin has insinuated on his twitter that he will be back for Super Sunday on the 19th and I presume he will he rejoining Gary on MNF.

Yes, I hope the live PL is again Jones on Saturday and Ed on Sun + Mon.

Jones didn't have enough to do last season so giving him the Footballer's Football Show is an excellent move.

Ideally they should also give Jones the Carling Cup and the CL 2nd picks but I fear they'll continue with Ben Shepherd. It really is now time to give up on Ben.

From Aug 2013 they'll have a Sat PL game in prime time almost every weekend (28 to 30 Sats) so that would be a bit of a further boost for Jones.

Bit off topic Hallrose, but any idea if we can expect new football graphics the season? I know the current set is not that old but I am a bit of a geek for new graphics!
