I did not mind him to start with but lately all he ever does is sit around talking about the insiders. I cannot think of anything he has done that has stirred any emotion in me at all. He is one of the most boring HMs unless you are interested in hearing constant bitching.
As much as I dislike the insiders, Luke A in my opinion is more boring than most of them and although I don't dislike him, I think he will be the worst ever BB winner if he does succeed.

This is exactly how he comes across to me too. I cannot quite grasp what it is that viewers like about him.

i am sure he didn´t know that it will be THAT bad. It was never that bitchy, nasty and vile in the past seasons. I never seen a series with so much unlikeable hm ...

It's true. But he is in there so why not try to make the best of it? He is too negative for me.

They think he is equally horrible, thats the thing.Judging yourself as good. saintly perfect and others as evil,when they are at worst unpleasant , but are hardly evil is just too much self righteousness, lack of humility/self awareness in one person.

I don't find him boring at all. In fact the only time I have laughed is when the 3 of them (Deana, Luke A and Adam) are together. They are 3 nice people with a genuine friendship (plus Lauren before she left) unlike the other lot who are just spiteful and nasty. Luke S and Ash are the most boring - who wants to watch a non romance? Not me, that's for sure.

When he said how he felt he'd wasted half his life I just wanted to shake him and say well don't waste your BB experience as well then! Everyone is dealt different cards in life, it's not what they are that matters it's what you do with them.

He went into the house looking forwards, but has spent the entire time looking backwards.

I dont think he can go much further down in my estimation....I would find it hard to choose which one I liked least between him and Conor......for differering reasons obviously but he is really very nasty.

He's as responsible for the mood in the house as Caroline and Conor really. It's 3 different forms of negativity which are constantly there. All look for it in others rather than themselves, and all see themselves as the virtuous ones.

Luke A honestly seems happy being miserable, because to address why he is feeling miserable he would have to look at how he sees others. Which would mean accepting than sometimes people just aren't judging him the way he is judging them.

It's incredibly frustrating to watch, because even when he apologises for something you can tell he feels he was still right for feeling and behaving the way he did. So he won't learn from it, he's caught in a negativity loop.

I have watched all the videos and cannot find one where Luke A has made me laugh. Most of the videos of him are him talking about the insiders or the game.

Whether he is right or wrong in his assessment of them is not the point. He should make a fair assessment of himself and try to improve his behavior which is no better than theirs.

Becky is stupid, Caroline is spiteful. Something they are all aware of and have been for weeks, the same as we have.

The thing with Luke A is he honestly doesn't care about any of them. Everyone in the house is very self-entitled, they were deliberately selected for that because of the way this year was meant to be all about the game with the nomination talk. People who would trample over anyone to get what they want.

He doesn't really care about what Becky thinks, he never did. Everyone in that house just represents society to Luke A, and he wants blanket acceptance from them all because of it. Even if they aren't people he actually likes or has made an effort with.

That's not how things work, no one will be liked by everyone. And not many people will like you when you make no effort at all and isolate yourself. He is using the house to prove a wider point that he has held for a long time, the housemates themselves are secondary, and this is the main thing that has stopped him making the most of the experience and it being a more positive one for him.

Agree! Just look at the latest videos on CH5 site, it's all Adam and Luke analysing and talking about the insiders. Tha'ts all they do!. Adam and Luke are so boring, boring, boring!
