Yep, with my measly two DVB-S2 tuners I can record up to 8 simultaneous Olympics channels, then record BBC One HD and BBC HD with one of my two DVB-T2 tuners, then use the other DVB-T2 tuner to watch Dave or summat.

Impressive right up to the admitting watching Dave part!

I just have the 3 Sat tuners and that does me fine. That would be 12 Olympic channels at once! (My poor hard drive would tell me where I could stick them as that lot wouldn't fit on my hard drive.)

It's not a DRM issue as they are recordable with every other kind of box and set up.

I will only be really impressed if they watch it all and still not fall asleep during the closing ceremony.

Considering most of these channels have been 'testing' for a couple of weeks or so, I'd say the blame should be shared all round.

In the meantime, Freesat should add all the SD versions of the Olympic channels onto the EPG of HD boxes so that Humax users have the option to record the SD versions.

Further to my earlier post explaining that the Olympic streams are freezing on my Bush HD, I have now added the SD streams as non-Freesat channels and they work perfectly, albeit in SD, so something is going on with the HD stream.

Hate to say this, but if one were a conspiracy theorist, remember these channels are being kindly uplinked by Sky.

Same here, with the same box. I don't know if it was linked to having tuned manually into the channels last week?

Either way, a factory reset gave me the Olympic channels too.

Sky would only be interested in doing that if they had a 'pay through the nose' alternative to sell to you.
