Ever wanted to be on the closest thing to BB?

Hello!

You may know me been here a while and run 10 series of my BB game, But times change and I dunno when or if it will return for a while

My latest project is Virtual Big Brother an online BB game where the house guests are banned from reading the public forum and sending pms, On this forum their PM boxes are cut off and the public forum is taken away from their sight and all they can see is the house! They have a private diary room where only The housemate in question and Big Brother may see their conversations, These will be posted in their own Thread in the public forum for the publics reading.

Our system tells me if any I.P addresses have more than one account to prevent ANY Information getting put across

This unique forum experience is available at my new website

http://w11.zetaboards.com/Virtual_Big_Brother/index/

You can sign up starting now and i will approve your membership!

Membership is free (Would old pothuthic ever charge you ) and you dont even have to be a house guest when the series starts! You can be a viewer or a lurker! But to see any house action you must be a forum member!

An announcement on when the first series will take place will be on the forum very shortly when everything is decided! We hope to see you on the forum soon!

(We are working on the forum design so the current design will certainly not stay like that!

Sounds like a fun idea, but you do know that not everybody has a static IP address, don't you? Particularly in the UK. And, of course, proxies are plentiful and free.

Which is not to say that anybody would cheat - this seems like the kind of project that would attract people who were going to play by the rules just to get into the spirit of the thing - but it would be incredibly easy to cheat.

Our system can search through any logged in i.ps so if anyone logged into a fake account and went on theirs later that night it would show up, and they would be ejected from the game.

I'm hoping a lot of people sign up as it has potential

Yeah, but what I'm saying is that it's incredibly easy to change your IP address. Sign in to one account while logged on, then use a proxy and sign in to another. That'll change the IP address. Also the way my internet, and the majority of UK internet addresses (unless you're paying extra for a static IP address), work is by assigning a different, random IP address every time the person connects to the internet.

It really wouldn't be hard to get around your safety measures, if someone wanted to.
