I wouldn't call noisily blasting her way through the front doors and then shooting him "creeping up on him". It happened pretty quickly, but there's a big hole in the wall behind her when she makes her "about your no guns thing" wisecrack, so she obviously didn't just slowly roll her way into the building

Well, yes, I was being kind of sarcastic about Bane failing to notice her approach.

The 'big hole in the wall' was something most people call...the front (double) doors of the building.

I believe the doors were open and she just drove through...who in a siege situation like that where hanging around would get you killed would hang around to shut the doors...there was also the few hundred people hand to hand fighting and shooting guns outside as well to cover any noise. And the Batpod was pretty quiet anyway.

I think you should stick to The Muppets Movie and Ice Age 4, complex adult plotting seems beyond your means.

Why didn't Bane fix his own mask when Batman beat him up seeing as Talia managed to and 'fixed' him?

I think it was simply to show the affection Talia has for Bane. It was a visual thing. One of those things in film that doesn't have to make sense in story terms, it's there to represent something else.

I realise now I misunderstood this particular scene. But I guess if complex adult plotting was beyond my means then I wouldn't have understood the likes of inception first time round but I did.

...

Bane explains the stupidity of the Interpol agent's ploy on camera. In the movie. Literally seconds after the event occured.

So bully for you for understanding Inception. Doesn't disprove your 1+1 abilities don't add up to 3 and half, particularly since it's all explained visually and verbally when Bane points out the stupidity of pretending to shoot someone when you plan to toss them out of a plane anyway.

A more important question to ask is this - why does Bane sound like a cross between Darth Vader and Dr. Evil from Austin Powers?? ;P

He was still effective though. Especially on IMAX with Hans Zimmer's theme blasting out with the sound of 1,000 stereos!

I thought he sounded more like an Asthmatic Sean Connery being sarcastic all the time.

Or something like that.
"So you came back to die with your city"
"No, I came back to stop you"

I thought "No, I came back to save it" or something like that would have worked better.

Yeah, but stopping Bane and saving Gotham are one and the same at that moment.

Probably due to the sheer pain he was in which was why hte mask wsa giving him the drugs to mask the pain...and as has been said from the point of the story it meant they could show the affection Talia had for Bane.

I loved the moment where alfred reveals about the letter he burned to bruce such a great scene

It was so rewarding how every thing came full circle in this movie everyone got a mention except joker which I understand

It did come full circle which was good...it really did show what the League of Shadows could do. But it did mean Nolan effectively made the same film twice...Batman vs The League Of Shadows...lazy script writing and no imagination if you ask me.

YES its that full circled-ness i absolutely adored....seriously its faultless the way it all tied back to the previous two films and had its own shape and identity!

And yeah in so many ways it is gutting Heath still isnt with us but also if the Joker had been alluded to and/or actually been in it it may be another strand that would appear needless perhaps. But alas it would have had a nice touch too....but regardless....i wanna rewatch RISES soon

Just come back from seeing this at the IMAX.
Wow. It was amazing, I genuinely loved it. Sneaky appearance from my fave Liam Neeson too!

Really enjoyed it. Can't wait to get it on Blu-Ray.

off topic

Just been reading box office mojo and what bugs me is
the spiderman franchise was not doing too badly in the box office at all

the 3rd movie had the highest worldwide gross of all 3 movies

they really should have given rami another go and let him do what he wanted to close that spider saga

Sure Spiderman 3 had some really awfull aspects about it but that franchise was very VERY redeemable IMO

I hate how spiderman 3 ends
