Yes, my gut says that they might be going down a relationship route with Max but I/we might be wrong. It could be "grow close" in the sense of friendship. It could be she likes him but nothing happens. Or vice versa. The instagram picture isn't taken whilst filming so it doesn't really tell us anything. Something could happen between them but it could still be done in a different way. Of course, it could be done in the most predictable way possible. We'll just have to wait and see.

I reckon SJP and Joseph will do a good job though, even if the script's predictable. It would just be lovely if the performance and script could both be as good as each other.

And with that, I'm off to watch the Olympic opening ceremony

Was hoping Luc would return in Aug but seems it will be longer. I can't keep up with the thread anymore, hundreds of Leddi posts to sift through every week.

Surely it's time for there to be a Luc/Leddi thread in the Soaps Appreciation sub-forum?

That's a really good idea actually - I'm not particularly bothered about Luc or Eddi (no offence meant to those who love them!) but I get excited about the thread being 'active' and bumped up the first page, only to find it's more Luc/Eddi/Joseph discussion or what he's been getting up to on twitter!

Of course people could still discuss Luc and Eddi on this thread if it's relevant to the s/l or episode that's under discussion in general, or a s/l or episode that they've featured in, but the more in-depth stuff (the fan-fic, twitter stuff and interest in the characters over and above what we see on the screen) would be better off in a thread over on the appreciation thread imho.

I won't shoot you down in flames for it jerseyporter, I totally agree with you and other posters who are bored reading all of this nonsense. I like reading about Holby City, chatting about storylines in general and upcoming spoilers. I am not interested in fanfics and what reviewers have to say... No matter how amusing they may well be. I don't need to read a review to help me make my own opinion about an episode.


No offence meant to anyone who does like all of this, each to their own, after all if we were all the same then wouldn't the world be a boring place.

Ok, I think this is a good idea to do a specific sub thread just on Luc/Eddi continuing story. I can't think of a good title, I will leave it to Lilster and Hatz to start one, if you gals, don't mind. So, will it go in Soap appreciation section ?

Yeah i too find DS forum confusing, and very big! After i first registered i rarely came on and then i found the holby thread so i tend to stay in here. But i will venture out of this thread more now. Ill let Hatz think of a title
